(AllHipHop Rumors) Someone get Odell back on track!
Word on the curb is that Odell Beckham Jr. has been skipping practice to kick it with a number of folks in L.A.
Lawd, what does this mean for the Giants?! Although these practices are voluntary, players are still expected to attend.
It looks like Odell may be practicing his dance moves on rapper Iggy Azalea.
Earlier this week, Beckham was spotted at Bowlero Woodland Hills with Iggy. The pair was allegedly spotted during the time period where most of the Giants squad practiced at the team’s workout facility in New Jersey.
According to Page Six and an inside source,
“They were with a small group of friends and rented the full venue out for their group, just having fun, bowling and eating throughout their visit.”
The source added that Beckham and Azalea were, “being romantic with each other throughout their outing, giggling and cozying up to each other.
“Odell showed up at 8.45 p.m. with three friends. At first he seemed like he wanted to remain private, he was bowling in his own lane, but later he started flirting with Iggy, they were sitting together away from the group, chatting and laughing. They all left together shortly before midnight.”
Odell seemed to hint at the fact that these claims are false as he tweeted,
“If they don’t have a story these days they’ll make one…” I might get that tatted?? #StayTheCourse.”
Odell better be careful as Iggy hasn’t exactly had the best luck with her career either. Folks are warning him to beware of the “Iggy curse”. LOL. Carry on.
"If they don't have a story these days they'll make one…" I might get that tatted😂😂 #StayTheCourse
(AllHipHop News) Rapper 2 Chainz has had to abandon plans to run for mayor in his native College Park, Georgia after failing to meet eligibility criteria.
The “I’m Different” hitmaker, real name Tauheed Epps, discussed his political ambitions in 2015, when he admitted he was seriously considering taking a break from music to run for office after receiving encouragement from fans and locals.
2 Chainz has since learned he falls short of the basic requirements to run for the city’s top job, but he’s sure he would have won if he was given the opportunity to challenge incumbent Jack Longino, who has held the post since 1996.
“If I decided to do something like that (run for office), I would win, easily,” the confident rapper said, “but I didn’t meet a few of the pre-requisites as far as staying in the same county I grew up in, and things of that nature, so I saved them (from embarrassment).”
The hip-hop star has instead turned his attention to helping locals by sharing his wealth with those in need through his charity, the TRU Foundation.
Over the last couple of years, 2 Chainz has surprised needy families with new homes, paid a disabled soldier’s rent for a year, and presented a poverty-stricken family with the keys to a new car.
And the rapper is planning to continue his acts of generosity to make sure struggling members of the community “don’t feel like they’re left out or forgotten about”.
“I don’t have any stories of somebody (famous) coming back (to College Park) when I was young, and coming to the neighborhood and playing football, dropping off (vans) full of furniture and paying bills off for someone who is really in need – not want, but in need,” he told U.S. talk show The View. “And so I think it’s at a point (where), I’m getting all these blessings, I’m selling merch (merchandise), I’m doing tours around the world, I’m just being very successful, so to me it’s important that I show God that I appreciate it by helping out others.”
(AllHipHop News) Actor Jamie Foxx has credited Oprah Winfrey with saving his life after she staged an alcohol intervention for him.
The star reveals he became a party animal at the height of his career around the time his Ray Charles biopic, “Ray,” was released in 2004.
The movie earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor but his celebrations were out of control and morphed into an alcohol and drug haze, which left close friends and colleagues more than a little concerned.
“I’m having such a good time and I’m not knowing I’m f##king up,” Jamie told U.S. shock jock Howard Stern during a SiriusXM radio interview. “I’m drinking… I’m doing every f##king thing you could possibly imagine.”
The 49-year-old was slammed back into reality when Oprah phoned him up and delivered a hardcore wake-up call.
“(She said), ‘You’re blowing it, Jamie Foxx. All of this gallivanting and all this kind of s##t, that’s not what you want to do… I want to take you somewhere, make you understand the significance of what you’re doing’,” he added.
Winfrey then organized a meeting for Foxx at musician Quincy Jones’ home, and invited several legendary African-American celebrities to help her help him.
“We go in the house and there are all these old actors, black actors from the 60s and the 70s, who look like they just want to say, ‘Good luck… Don’t blow it’.”
Screen legend Sidney Poitier was among the entertainers in attendance and he offered Foxx advice he’ll never forget, telling the actor, “I want to give you responsibility… When I saw your performance, it made me grow two inches’.”
After hearing Sidney’s words, Jamie broke down in tears and vowed to change his ways.
“To this day, it’s the most significant time in my life where it was, like, a chance to grow up,” he said.
(AllHipHop News) Nicki MInaj has assured fans in the U.K. she has no plans to pull her 2018 tour plans following the bomb blast that cost 22 people their lives in Manchester on Monday night (May 22).
The music world has been largely defiant following the terror attack at the Manchester Arena following Ariana Grande’s gig, insisting the show must go on despite the fear of more violence, with Simple Minds refusing to cancel a show in the city on Tuesday and Katy Perry, Lorde, and the stars of a massive outdoor pop festival in London assuring fans they’ll still be performing this weekend.
And now Nicki has made it clear Monday night’s bomb blast isn’t making her rethink touring plans in 2018.
“We don’t operate in fear,” she told TMZ, “Of course I’ma (sic) perform for my Manchester fans. They deserve it.”
She also offered her support to “my sister” Ariana, who has put her European tour on hold and flown home to Florida to spend time with her family and boyfriend Mac Miller following Monday night’s tragedy.
“I love her and I love the people of the U.K. and I’m devastated by the news. It’s heartbreaking,” Nicki added.
Minaj had also been in London filming her No Frauds video on the city’s Westminster Bridge in March, just three days before a man rammed his car into pedestrians there and then ran onto the grounds of the Houses of Parliament, where he fatally stabbed an unarmed police officer. Four people were killed and 50 others were injured in the attack.

Diddy, was at the top of the list once again beating out Jay Z ($810 million) and Dr. Dre ($740 million), with a staggering net worth of over $820 million, thanks to his investments in Revolt TV, his liquor companies Ciroc and DeLeon and other ventures.
Diddy discussed his vast wealth during an interview on the red carpet during the Billboard Awards.
“For me it’s about the things that I could do with the success that I’ve had, like opening up a charter school, capital prep in Harlem and donating $1 million to my alumni. I’m really passionate about that.”
In addition to actually giving some of the money away, Diddy recognized that he was inspiring a new generation of locals and entrepreneurs.
“at the same time I do think that when my people see people that look like us on that list on Forbes and doing business really the right way, they get inspired, so no apologies.””
Check out the interview, and watch Diddy have some innocent fun with the interviewer.
K Camp has officially signed his first artist True Story Gee to his 427 Music imprint. Gee and Camp have known each other for years with a relationship going deep beyond the mic. With Gee eager to get his own career off the ground and Camp looking to expand his team, it only made sense for these two to officially team up and even quickly follow up with a new collaboration titled “Diamonds.”
Here’s what both rappers had to say about the new signing;
“I signed True Story Gee just off his story. We’re from the same side. We relate on levels most n***as won’t understand and in my opinion, he’s colder than most these rappers out here. And he’s solid all the way around. I wouldn’t have signed him if I ain’t believe in him. I’ve been knowing Gee since we were 10 years old. It’s deeper than rap s### – that’s family.” – K Camp
“It’s a great feeling being signed to 427! It was time for it. We have a good history and we’re already just like family. Camp, that’s my bro right there. He kept me on path even when I was messing up. He believes in my craft more then a lot of people. Fans can expect a project from me any day now titled “Shannons Boy”. It’s gonna be crazy! I promise!” – True Story Gee
Check out the Music Major-assisted record below and be sure to look-out for Gee’s forthcoming project “Shannon’s Boy.”
(AllHipHop News) As is the case with most successful music groups, people have been wondering if/when Migos’ Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff will break off for individual careers.
Each member has dropped solo tracks since April, so the speculation of a potential split has increased in recent weeks.
OG Parker – the producer of Offset’s “Monday,” Quavo’s “Paper Over Here,” and Takeoff’s “Intruder” – spoke with XXLabout the Atlanta trio’s recent string of solitary records.
“I really just told them I plan on releasing a couple songs on my SoundCloud,” stated Parker. “That was really just me dropping the solo tracks. That wasn’t their idea or anything.”
Besides those one-man loosies, Quavo appeared as a featured artist on songs by Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled, Drake, Meek Mill, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, and more.
Offset has also contributed to tunes released by 21 Savage, Cardi B, Lil Yachty, Key!, Murda Beatz,Fly Ty, and others.
So are the “Bad and Boujee” hitmakers setting up music runs by themselves?
“I never heard anything about solo projects,” added Parker. “I always just hear Migos. All I hear is Migos stuff. They always just talk about Migos.”

(AllHipHop Rumors) It was all good for “Bad & Boujee”!
It’s a lot going on in these upside-down cross-wearing streets!
Lil Uzi Vert was already facing much criticism for his fashion choices, but now the rapper has also faced criticism from his rap peer Migos member Offset, for rocking an upside-down cross necklace.
“All y’all n-ggas wearing upside down crosses, even my little partners, stop that sh-t. You look lame. All that worship the devil sh-t. Get with God man,” said Offset.
Chicago rapper SahBabii decided to respond even before Lil Uzi had a chance to. SahBabii also made it clear that he practiced unknownism and not any form of devil worshipping.
“I showed these n-ggas respect now f-ck Migos! We ain’t goin for no disrespect. […] My cross gone stay upside down, y’all n-ggas donate $1000 to Washington but throw $10,000 in a club. I will beat yo ass,” he said.
Offset got XXXTentacion’s attention also as he responded by saying,
“By the way for those who don’t know what the upside-down cross stands for it’s nothing Satanic. Just so you know. Stop saying that; it’s not controversial.”
It didn’t end there though. Lil Uzi Vert posted an Instagram post that seemingly trolled Offset. Offset commented saying,
“I will pray for you my brother.”
Lil Uzi replied by saying,
“In trap church huh. Imma pray for you.”
What are your thoughts on the upside-down crosses?
Kid Ink released his “7 Series” EP last month and doesn’t seem to be slowing down, now following up with a new track titled “Nympho,” a remix to Julia Michaels’ record “Issues.” The L.A.-native couldn’t get the song out of his head so he decided to tap into his R&B side and give it his own spin.
(AllHipHop News) Media troll or marketing genius? The debate about LaVar Ball’s motives behind his eccentric actions is an ongoing pop culture discussion.
The father of likely NBA draft pick Lonzo Ball has become a lightning rod over controversial statements and endless self-promotion of his Big Baller Brand.
While LaVar has faced off with several sports talking heads on television, Ice Cube is calling him out on the court.
The Hip Hop legend posted a Twitter message where he challenges the former college basketball player to a four-point shot contest.
“Callin out [Lavar Ball] for [BIG3] #4pointchallenge! Make the 30ft shot and I’ll cop 10 pairs of #bigballerbrand,” tweeted Cube referring to Lonzo’s highly publicized $495 Zo2 Prime sneakers.
Last year, Ice Cube announced the creation of his BIG3 professional basketball league.
The 3-on-3 games will feature ex-NBA stars such as Allen Iverson, Charles Oakley, Jason Williams, Stephen Jackson, Kenyon Martin, Mike Bibby, and Rashard Lewis.
Iverson and Oakley will also work as coaches, along with Gary Payton, George Gervin, Julius Erving, Rick Mahorn, Rick Barry, and Clyde Drexler.
Week one of the BIG3 season is scheduled to begin June 25 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
(AllHipHop Features) While some fans beg for “real rap,” there are tons of talented rappers struggling to get on. Sometimes it’s about beat choice or subject matter, and sometimes it’s seemingly for no reason. And at a time when our youth needs positive direction more than ever, most mainstream rappers are glorifying money, hard drugs, and murder.
But beneath the slew of uninspired, cookie-cutter rap that clutters the mainstream lies a handful of diamonds. These 10 underground kings aren’t just dope lyricists, they use their platform to educate and motivate the people.
1 – Mick Jenkins
A lot of underrated artists are missing something—consistency, cohesive projects, good production—but not Mick Jenkins. His last two projects, The Water[s] and The Healing Component, were packed with nice bars, solid production, and meaningful content. And if that’s not enough, he intertwines uplifting themes into all of his music.
Rap has always struggled with gender equality, but not because there aren’t enough dope female MCs. TDE collaborator ill Camille is living proof that bars have no gender. Her last album Heirloom was a testament to her skill behind the mic, starting with a gritty track that could have lived in any of the past 3 decades.
3 – Mickey Factz
If you aren’t familiar with Mickey Factz, I feel bad for you. Although he doesn’t always turn heads, the Bronx rapper has built up a great catalog, punctuating it with his debut album The Achievement last fall. He’s currently working on the deluxe version of The Achievement and the second installment in his Mickey MauSe series.
4 – King Los
Whatever your favorite beat is, Los probably murdered it on a past mixtape. Kendrick said he had the best “Control” remix. But he still doesn’t get the credit he deserves, a problem which signing multiple deals with Bad Boy hasn’t helped. A solid album and 14 mixtapes give us plenty of good music, though, and his High Frequency mixtape is on the way.
5 – Nino Bless
Did you know Slaughterhouse almost had another member? His name is Nino Bless, and he’s been spitting absolutely mind-bending rhymes for the past 5 years. Nino defies the laws of rap, effortlessly skating over beats with a highly unorthodox flow and incredible bars that would have been an interesting fit for Slaughterhouse.
6 – Fashawn
In 2009, Fashawn dropped his critically acclaimed debut album, Boy Meets World. It took another six years before we heard a second album from the Fresno spitter, but it seems the demand for his music has all but disappeared. All in all, it was still a great album, and his upcoming album Manna should be more of the same.
7 – 3D Na’Tee
3D Na’Tee is hip-hop through and through. She grew up in the 3rd Ward of New Orleans where she began rapping at a young age and eventually established herself as a battle rapper. She even shot and edited her 2011 “Switch” video by herself. In 2016, she dropped her debut album, The Regime, a 23-song offering packed with bars.
8 – Jon Connor
The self-proclaimed People’s Rapper, Jon Connor looked to be breaking into the mainstream a while back when he dropped Unconscious State and was featured in both the XXL Freshman and BET cyphers. But four years later, the Flint native is still working on his sophomore album, and the buzz surrounding him seems to have died down a bit.
9 – Smoke DZA
Contrary to his name, Smoke DZA is more than a weed rapper. DZA started off with a more weed-influenced sound, but he’s quickly risen to a top-flight lyricist. Near the end of 2016, he dropped Don’t Smoke Rock with Pete Rock, a great album and a testament to the respect he gets within the game.
10 – Ab-Soul
When Control System had just dropped, some people argued that Ab-Soul was better than K. Dot (myself included). But when These Days… received mixed reviews and Soulo was all but absent for the next year, he lost some of his buzz. He looks to be back on track, though—his last album was dope and received positive reviews from those who cared enough to listen closely.
New York rapper Joell Ortiz has steadily been releasing new material for fans the past few months and keeps things going with a new HeatMakerz-produced joint titled “God Forbid.”
The Slaughterhouse lyricist reminds us that bars should still matter and how the game has changed since Hip-Hop’s golden days. Stream below.
Having already built a solid following in his home city of Chicago, 600Breezy was further catapulted into stardom after a feature on Drake’s recent project “More Life.” The co-sign and affiliation with OVO Sound couldn’t have come at a more perfect time, as 600Breezy is set to unveil his forthcoming mixtape, “Breezo George Gervin: Iceman Edition.” With all this buzz surrounding him, WSHH reached out and premiered his brand new visual, “Lou Rawls,” where he took his talents to South Beach.
