La Coka Nostra Is “Waging War” With Rite Hook As Group Prep Brand New Album

It’s been four-years since La Coka Nostra released their sophomore album, Masters Of The Dark Arts, the group’s first project without Everlast, which also happened to be their most critically acclaimed project.

Masters Of The Dark Arts featured collaborations with Vinnie Paz and Sean Price, as well as production from DJ Premier and Statik Selektah.

The music industry has changed considerably in that time.  However, a few things still remain constant; La Coka Nostra will always be as their aptly-titled 2009 debut verified, A Brand You Can Trust, and the group will continue to dazzle their rapid fan-base with sold out shows around the globe with their raucous live performances

The members of La Coka Nostra have collectively been delivering quality hardcore Hip-Hop music for 25-years now and with To Thine Own Self Be True they return re-invigorated and on the cusp of setting off for a world tour.

To Thine Own Self Be True; The battle-cry for La Coka Nostra from here on out,” group member Danny Boy stated. “It’s only onward and upward from here.”

Kim Kardashian Fears Thieves Will Leak New Sex Tapes & Private Photos

Because Kim Kardashian has overcome one sex tape scandal, posts naked photos on social media almost daily, and has done countless naked magazine spreads, we are sure another tape wouldn’t cause any damage to her brand.

Word on the street is that there may be another sex tape on the way since Kim K was allegedly robbed at gunpoint of one of her phones in Paris.

Judging by what we have already seen of Kim K, it’s safe to assume there are plenty of explicit photos and videos on that device.

According to U.K.’s TheSun:

“She is reeling from the trauma of what she went through. But much of the terror and shock she is still suffering is due to the real fear that pictures and videos on her two pinched mobile phones leak online. There is footage on the devices that was only ever meant to stay private. It would be catastrophic for Kim if her personal property was made public. She’s at her wits’ end.”

A source close to Kim claims that although Kim has turned her nudity into a lucrative reign, she doesn’t wish to go through the scandalous side of it all over again.

What do you think? What do you believe? They are already calling the girl Kim Lochte.

AHH Stray News: Snoop & Dolly, Kanye Goes Nuts, Drake Visits Drake

Snoop Dogg

One of the most legendary rappers could team with an icon of Country music, if the stars lineup correctly. Dolly Parton was on a recent episode of “The Real” that she wanted to duet with Snoop Dogg, since her husband is a major fan of the Long Beach bred rapper. “My husband loves him, by the way…so, it’s possible,” Dolly Parton told The New York Post. “It’s possible. My husband likes him as a person. My husband just relates to him somehow. He’s the coolest guy!”

Kanye West

Kanye West went nuts after his fashion show on Roosevelt Island tanked in front of the top bloggers, editors and fashion critics during New York’s Fashion Week. Kanye, 39, fired his whole staff and ditched his cellphone due to the amount of calls he was receiving over what critics have labeled a flop. “He had his agent fire all 30 of his staff after the fashion show and got rid of his phone so people can only contact him via e-mail,” a source told The New York Post.  “He had a nervous breakdown after the show and that’s what triggered it all.”

Drake
Drake

Drake finally answered the calls of Drake University students and the #BringDrakeToDrake hashtag by visiting Drake University in Iowa after his “Summer Sixteen” tour stop in Des Moines. Unfortunately, the students at the University never even saw the rapper. He managed to sneak onto the campus unnoticed during the night to take pictures in front of various Frat and Sorority houses.

OG Maco Blasts Rapper Logic Over “AfricAryan” Album Title

(AllHipHop News) It looks like Logic’s new album title is not just causing waves amongst his fans, it has struck a sour note with Atlanta rapper OG Maco.

Logic raised some eyebrows when he revealed the title of his new album is going to be titled “AfricAryan,” which will focus on his upbrining and life as a light-skinned, black and white biracial man in society. “The first man and woman [are] from Africa, and how over time, culturally evolving into a lighter and lighter and much more fairer skin,” Logic explained to podcaster Dan Harmon. “So the album is going to be called AfricAryaN. Real s**t it’s about me being black and white and seeing life from two sides.

[It’s] about that cultural evolution and how you can go from the darkest of skin to the lightest of skin. Or the Aryan brotherhood if you will, who believe that they’re ‘pure of blood.’ When at the end of f**king the day we all have that in our blood and we all have so many different ethnicities in our blood, no matter how pure that we think we are.”

The rapper stressed that his album would be about equality for all, yet the word “Aryan” in the title is causing some tension among Logic fans.

OG Maco, who also known as “BLVKPHILLCOLLINS” on Twitter, took a direct shot at Logic over the title.

“Like the Aryan Nation? Fam I know you don’t like being black but f##k. S##t,” OG Maco tweeted. “The word ‘Aryan’ is used almost exclusively as a rally cry for the ‘pure blood’ superior white race theory. I think it’s a ?title.”

“He’s three years old, so he might not understand the concept of having his own clothing line. But the fact that all of his favorite things are all over his clothes, it makes him feel special; it makes him entertained by what he’s wearing.”

“My favorite piece was probably the pumpkin sock because he loves pumpkins so much,” Wiz adds. “He’s really into Halloween and spooky things, and the fact that we were able to pull off a pumpkin design was really cool.”

Customers will be able to purchase sweatshirts, bomber jackets, shirts and accessories of the same design from the line in both kids and menswear sizes, with prices ranging from $35 to $80 per item, save for the bomber jackets, which will sell for $150 in the kids section and $250 for adults.

Meek Mill Opens Up On Relationship With Nicki Minaj, Had His Eye On Her For “Years”

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill’s life with Nicki Minaj is a dream come true.

The rapper has been dating Nicki since early 2015, and the pair’s relationship is so strong they were even recently forced to deny claims of their engagement.

And in a new interview for the latest episode of the “Noisey Raps” documentary series, Meek has waxed lyrical about his girlfriend, admitting he can’t believe he lucked out in landing the “Anaconda” beauty.

“I wake up in my bed and I just look at Nicki like, ‘Man, this s##t has gotta be a dream because we used to dream all this s##t and it’s just going on right now,” he said in the footage. “I always seen it like this. I always seen it like me having one of the top hustling, prettiest girls in the game. That’s how my account was set up.”

One of the main reasons Meek and Nicki’s romance is such a success is because they both understand each other and their respective careers.

While Nicki is a hugely successful singer, Meek is also a popular Hip-Hop artist, and it’s this shared knowledge of the industry that Meek believes helps the couple connect.

“Where I come from. I can’t just be from the hood and have a total opposite girlfriend, she don’t know nothing about where I come from. She don’t understand me,” he explained. “Somebody that’ll understand me. Somebody that hustle. You know what I’m saying? Somebody that’s aggressive. These are things I like.”

Meek also revealed in the “Noisey Raps” episode he set his sights on the multimillionaire rapper many years ago. I In fact, his admiration for the singer was so strong that he even referenced her in many of his songs.

“I used to always tell my friends – I even got raps ‘such and such with Nicki.’ I always had it like that. That was someone I admired at the time,” he smiled.

(AllHipHop News) Miami rap star DJ Khaled weighed in on Kim Kardashian’s frightening experience in Paris, France, where she was robbed of $10 million worth of jewelry on October 3.

Police are still hunting for the suspects who pulled off the daring robbery, which left Kim taped, bound and left in a bathtub while the thieves looted her for $10 million worth of jewelry, including the $4.5 million wedding ring Kanye West recently purchased.

During an appearance on the Wendy Williams show, DJ Khaled weighed in on the incident.

“I love Kim, I love Kanye, I’m glad no one got hurt,” Khaled said.

Now that he is known as the “King of Snapchat,” Khaled has become a household name.

The fame has made him become a bit more cautious about his surroundings, although he still strives to remain down to earth with his fans.

“I’m very cautious but at the same time I want to live my life,” DJ Khaled said. “I come from the bottom, so I am very focused, very cautious and I have a team that’s very respectful,” DJ Khaled said.

According to Atlanta Black Star, the film will focus on 14-year old prodigy L##### Shante Gooden, and her struggles to make a living for her family while surviving the dangerous streets of the Queensbridge Projects.

As of now specific details about the film, such as a premiere date have not been revealed.

T.I. Reflects On Impact Of War On Drugs In Black Community In VEVO’s “Why I Vote” Campaign (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) In the latest edition of  VEVO’s “Why I Vote,” series T.I. reflected on how the War on Drugs ravaged urban communities nationwide throughout the late 80s and early 90s.

“My name is Tip Harris, and I vote to change the injustices and to fix the inequality that exists in America today,” the rapper states in the short video clip.

In the video courtesy of Rolling Stone, the rapper explains the inequities of the War on Drugs imposed by Reagan.

To illustrate his point he explains how the war made it mandatory for an individual in possession of 10 grams of crack to be sentenced to the equivalent of someone in possession of a kilo of cocaine.

The launch of the War on Drugs impacted T.I. at a very young age, as his uncle who was one of the primary male figures in his life at the time received a 10-year sentence for conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

“It was unreal to me. That was the only person who took some real time to kind of mold me as a man. When he went away, it was ridiculous,” reflected the MC.

T.I. also goes on to suggest that the War on Drugs was a conspiracy to exploit the impoverished minority community for free labor to the benefit of mass corporations.

“We ain’t no d##n chemists. We didn’t come up with that,” the MC states when speaking of crack’s introduction to the community.

Elevatorgate! Family Guy Pokes Fun At Jay Z & Solange Elevator Fight

You have to love shows like Family Guy and American Dad as they always bring the funny with their spoofs of American culture.

Beyonce, Jay Z, and Solange fans somehow forgot that Pete Griffin was a peacemaker the day Jay Z and Solange got in that infamous elevator fight following the 2014 Met Gala.

“I’ve seen what happens when people hold in their aggression for too long. Don’t forget I was in that elevator with Jay Z,” Griffin told his wife Lois about that insane day.

The only person that would’ve leveled up more than the guy who leaked the footage is a person with the audio. Too bad Griffin was trying to play peacemaker and not recording.

In a clip that is supposedly modeled after the security cam footage, Griffin is a bystander and witness to the fight, in which he scolds the singer for kicking the rapper because her shoes are muddy and he’s wearing a white suit.

Hilarious! Check out the clip below!

The Atlanta rappers revealed that their ‘Culture’ album and collaborative mixtape with Rich The Kid, ‘Streets On Lock 5’, were both on the way during an interview with AllHipHop.com on the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet.

As far as their opinion on ghostwriting, Migos say they don’t use ghostwriters so they haven’t formed an opinion on the topic.

Exclusive: Dave East Talks Spitting Real Bars, Ghostwriting & Getting Robbed By A Chick On The 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards Green Carpet

The 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards pulled out many of Hip Hop’s heavyweights and rising stars as it took place at its new home, The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta Georgia.

New Def Jam signee, Dave East hit the Sprite green carpet eager to discuss his new project ‘Kairi Chanel’, and his bars in this year’s cypher with AllHipHop.com.

“Bars and pain. I’m from Harlem. It’s going to be a lot of just me. If you familiar with me at all or what I talk about or the sound I got, it’s that but a little harder for the awards, said East.”

Dave revealed that he is done with the free mixtapes, so he chose to drop ‘Kairi Chanel’ on iTunes.

While discussing the new mixtape, he explained that the project was named after his daughter (who he’s previously credited with being the person to change his life).

Dave also recently dropped a video called “Keisha” that chronicles a woman robbing him!

The Harlem rapper has taken a different stance on ghostwriting and this generation being knowledgeable about the rap legends that preceded them.

As far as the ghostwriting subject, Dave stated that he’s learned that Hip Hop is a money game with no true rules.

“I mean I don’t knock it. You know what I learned with Hip Hop. It’s a money game. Everybody getting money. It ain’t really about the culture…ain’t no rules. Nobody following no guidelines. Nobody will never write nothing for me. I write all my own lines. I understand why people have ghostwriters, it’s probably making their music better. Ain’t no guidelines or no rules, so it is what it is,” Dave told AllHipHop.com

When asked about some of his peers not knowing about legendary rappers, he replied saying,

“I feel like it depends on the type of music you make. Like with me I spit and I’m from New York so I had to do my homework on Nas, and Jay Z, and Biggie. Like I grew up on that. But I feel like you can get rich without it. You don’t have to know that….. I don’t feel like it’s needed.”

Congrats again on the Def Jam deal Dave!

Exclusive: Lil’ Uzi Vert Talks Studying Real Hip Hop, His Stage Name & More On The 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards Green Carpet

The very eccentric Lil’ Uzi Vert recently shared that he definitely planned on turning up during his BET Hip Hop Awards performance!

He also revealed that he is working on his forthcoming untitled album during an interview with AllHipHop.com at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The Philly rapper gave his opinion on the new generation of Hip Hop artists not knowing the classic songs and bars of the legends that came before them. He also touched on the controversial subject of ghostwriting in Hip Hop.

As far as ghostwriting, Lil’ Uzi says, that while someone may not be writing his bars for him, he doesn’t write them either as he usually just goes in the booth and freestyles his songs.

“The only ghost I want is the car. On the real, anything that you’ve probably heard, I haven’t wrote it. I just go in the booth and freestyle it,” said Lil’ Uzi Vert.”

When asked about some of his peers not knowing about legendary rappers, he interjected saying,

“Let me tell you something before you get into that, I ain’t like that. I’m from Philadelphia; I’m from up north. So I have no choice but to know real rap. My mom used to listen to Biggie.”

The rapper’s style and appearance aren’t the only thing that stand out. We also got down to the origin of Lil’ Uzi Vert’s stage name.

“I was rapping one day and some guy was like dag you rap fast like a machine gun, like a lil’ uzi or something, and I was just like oh Lil Uzi whatever; it worked,” Lil Uzi Vert told AllHipHop.com

Someone Hacked J. Cole’s Twitter!

Some folks have way too much time on their hands.

Rapper J. Cole was one of the latest celebrities to experience having their social media accounts hacked. We suppose Cole is an easy target because of his known reclusiveness.

The Roc Nation rapper also recently announced that he wouldn’t be performing anymore for a long time.

J. Cole hasn’t tweeted since first quarter this year when his Dreamville artist Bas released his ‘Too High To Riot’ project.

Last night J. Cole’s Twitter was pretty active as it tweeted some pretty controversial statements out to his eight million followers.

One tweet that caught everyone’s attention was one that referenced Kim Kardashian’s recent robbery in Paris as a publicity stunt.

The desperate hacker even took time out to plug some terrible music. Fortunately for Cole World, his account was soon regained!
