(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop star Chance the Rapper is locked in a custody battle, just days before he’s due to hit the stage for a highly anticipated performance at the Grammys.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Kirsten Corley will be in court this Friday (February 10), in an attempt to work out a custody agreement for their 16-month-old daughter.
The rapper’s lawyers have petitioned the court to set a child support award “below statutory guidelines.”
Chance is also asking the court to ensure Corley shares in their daughter’s expenses, since she is capable of being able to work.
In addition to seeking an order protecting both parties’ private information, Chance is also asking the court to “recognize that a large income does not necessarily trigger an extravagant lifestyle.”
Chance’s new album Coloring Book is nominated for seven Grammy Awards, and the rapper will perform during the live event, which takes place on February 12.
(AllHipHop News) Game is calling BS on reports that suggested he kicked a bunch of girls out of his house, over their skin tone.
Game’s cuz supposedly asked the women to leave and allegedly said they should have never brought “dark meat” to the party.
In a new video posted on TMZ.com, Game flatly denied the allegations.
“It was a private Super Bowl party, it was like 20 people,” Game said. “I knew everybody that was in my house. This is my home. It’s not like I had it at Dave & Busters. This chick came in with a few girls, and I wasn’t discriminatory.”
According to Game, the women were there for about 20 minutes, they made a few drinks and had some pizza.
The Compton rapper said he noticed the women, and began asking his friends if anybody in the party new who the uninvited guests were.
“They were like ‘oh we just heard about it so we decided to come,’” Game continued. “They were asked to leave because they didn’t know anyone.”
Check out Game’s explanation:

Nicki Minaj has overtaken Taylor Swift to become the second most prolific female hitmaker on the Billboard charts. “Run Up,” the latest track to feature the hip-hop star, debuted at number 66 on the Billboard charts on Monday, giving Nicki the edge over Taylor with 71st appearances in the Hot 100. Nicki Minaj has two more to go to tie Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, who is also the queen of the countdown with 73 hits.
Chicago rapper, Dreezy, is celebrating the platinum certification of her single “Body” featuring Jeremih. The single is taken from the 22-year-old South Side native’s new album “No Hard Feelings.” According to Dreezy, she knew the record was a hit when she heard it. “When I heard the track, I immediately knew I could do something with it,” Dreezy said. “It was a different type of record for me, but it sounded good … I knew right away I wanted Jeremih on it.”

Beyonce is facing a $20 million lawsuit amid allegations she illegally sampled a late rapper’s lyrics in the video version of her hit song “Formation.” Messy Mya’s raspy voice can be heard at the start of the promo, asking, “What happened after New Orleans?” as footage of Beyonce standing on top of a sinking city police car flashes across the screen. A few other lines from the YouTube star, real name Anthony Barre, are featured elsewhere in the video, but now his estate officials claim Beyonce used the lyrics from his 2010 track “A 27 Piece Huh?” without permission. Now the Barre family is taking Beyonce to court, demanding $20 million in back royalties and other damages. The New Orleans, Louisiana rapper was shot and killed in 2010.

The video for “Hangover” was directed by Denzel Williams. It had it’s first soft release a few months ago, creating a strong viral buzz and almost 100,000 views. If you haven’t already, please peep the visual. The song itself was produced by popular producer Ron Browz.
(AllHipHop News) We’ve seen the #SoGoneChallenge, the #MannequinChallenge, and the #SouljaBoyChallenge take over the internet.
Rising DMV Hip Hop artist Jay IDK is looking to get another trend going.
The Money Bank album creator shared his #MumbleRapChallenge with his 23,000 Twitter followers.
“Mumble Rap” has become a description for rappers that focus more on flow and melody than lyrical ability and enunciation.
Some of the acts connected to the phrase include Future, Young Thug, Desiigner, Fetty Wap, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, and Migos.
While the phrase “Mumble Rap” often has a negative connotation associated with it, Jay IDK insisted his video was meant to be lighthearted.
“Playing Culture the album [by Migos] for the 99999th time still,” wrote the HXLY TRiBE head on Twitter. “We just having fun. Relax.”
Back in 2015, Hopsin was less conciliatory when he called out Mumble Rappers in his video titled “No Words.”
The vid opens with Hopsin saying, “Man, rap today f-cking sucks bad. I don’t give a f-ck what anybody says. These fools ain’t spitting no type of dope sh-t. But that’s not even the bad part. They’re not even saying words anymore. They just got a hard ass f-cking beat to trick dumb a#### like you to make you think you like the sh-t.”

(AllHipHop News) A bouncer who was allegedly assaulted by rapper Rich Homie Quan had a nice payday yesterday (February 7).
Rich Homie was hit with the lawsuit, after he allegedly punched a security guard in the face, and took off in a speed boat.
The rapper was apparently irate because he couldn’t get into Liv at the Fountainbleu in Miami.
The security guard claimed the rapper had a fit and screamed “I’m Rich Homie Quan and I’m a rich millionaire, b##ch. I’m coming through these doors…” and then hit the guard in the face.
According to TMZ.com the whole ordeal will cost Rich Homie $60,000. The rapper reached a settlement with the bouncer’s attorneys, and they told TMZ.com:
“That’s one expensive punch and hopefully it’ll send a message – to not just celebrities, but regular people – you can’t go around punching people.”
(AllHipHop News) The Twitter world is going crazy, after a rather bizarre tweet from Donald Trump’s official twitter account.
The POTUS was at it again today (February 8) attempting to defend his “Muslim Ban,” which was temporary system temporarily suspended by a federal judge in Seattle last Friday.
President Trump was raging on Twitter, as he’s done the past week, but it was today’s tweet (February 8), that sent the Twitterverse into a frenzy.
“Big increase in traffic into our country from certain areas, while our people are far more vulnerable, as we wait for what should be EASY D!” President Donald Trump tweeted.

Trump, who is famously known for giving other people names like “Little Marco” (Marco Rubio), “Crooked Hillary” (Hillary Clinton), and “Lyin’ Ted” (Ted Cruz), apparently has apparently come up with a new name for himself that might stick around for awhile.
While “Easy D” could be mean “easy defeat” or “decision,” Trump never clarified and of course, Twitter users went absolutely nuts and turned it into a trending hashtag.

(AllHipHop News)Actor Dominic Santana hopes to take the role of Suge Knight to another level in the upcoming biopic “All Eyez on Me.”
The Tupac biopic stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac, while Danai Gurira plays Afeni Shakur. Jamal Woolard plays Biggie Smalls, and Dominic Santana landed the role of Suge Knight.
Even though the actor has dozens of credits to his name, including “20 Funerals,” “Dead Heist,” and “The Game,” his role of Suge Knight is one of the most anticipated performances of the biopic, which will be in theaters this summer.
“I’m very excited to be a part of such an iconic story and piece of music history,” Dominic Santana told AllHipHop.com. “Whenever a biopic is made, you have to approach it with respect to the people you are portraying, but also bring the role to a new level for those who aren’t familiar with the life and times of the historical figures.
“The response from fans has been a great mixture, but overall, most people have been excited about how well the casting was,” Dominic Santana continued.
The biopic is due in theaters on June 16th, which is also Tupac’s birthday.
(AllHipHop Rumors) Well it looks like Future may not be smashing Scottie Pippen’s wife, Larsa Pippen anymore. Or maybe they have an open relationship. LOL.
As you know, at one point Scottie was filing for divorce, and rumors spread that the reason he was filing for divorce was that his wife was allegedly having an affair with Future.
While Larsa has maintained that her and Future are just friends, word around the A is they have definitely been messing around with each other.

Last year Larsa was allegedly spotted on Future’s jet and flying city-to-city with the rapper, and she was caught at his Miami mansion.
Future was even a bit petty last year as he posted a few cryptic subliminals [aimed at Scottie], one saying “She’s mine now,” on Snap Chat.
Word previously spread that Scottie was calling off the divorce despite the fact that Larsa continued to hang out with her alleged side boo, Future.
Well, now Larsa and Scottie were recently spotted together at the Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles. Apparently they have been working on their relationship. Larsa has also been flaunting a new 14 karat ring that she says was an early Valentine’s Day gift.
As Larsa and Scottie were spotted leaving the restaurant, a rude member of the crazy paparazzi decided to ask the couple where Future was!
Scottie looked like he wanted to punch the sh-t out of dude, but he kindly avoided the lawsuit by asking all of the photographers were they “done.” Pippen was visibly mad. Hell I would be too. That is the ultimate disrespectful question especially given the state of their current relationship drama. How would you have handled the situation?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Well it looks like Stevie J & Wale have found themselves as the subjects of gay scandals this week!
You know that every other day a story emerges that some rapper or singer is allegedly gay. This week’s victim of the gay rapper rumor mill happens to be Wale.
Someone allegedly sent a photo of a man and someone who people believe to be as Wale in the bed together with a story line of an alleged gay affair to gossip IG account @IndustryOnBlast.
The person says that Wale was allegedly messing around with their male cousin but got ghost once Wale had his new baby.
“My cousin has been dealing with Wale off and on for 3 years, he flew him up to DC last summer and we all went out to stadium and a few other places. He stopped hearing from him and all of a sudden he post his new baby on his page. The tea is my cousin is a guy. He really should be ashamed, he’s living a lie and really foul out here, but then again that’s probably why he’s paranoid and on edge,” wrote the insider.
Wale wasn’t with the sh-t, so he took to Twitter to respond.
“Kill yall wild af and believe anything. Some of yall want some drama bad you’ll settle for a fake one if it’ll create a convo,” said Wale.
I mean not that it matters that much whether he is or he isn’t, well depending on who you ask. LOL.
It certainly didn’t help Wale’s case when people brought up his interview with Larry King where he says that he thought it would be a gay rapper before a black president, and that it’s taboo to speak bad about the gay community now because homosexuality is socially accepted.
Wale saying that homosexuality is socially accepted doesn’t necessarily mean he’s gay either. He could just be speaking in general and expressing that he’s a heterosexual male who isn’t homophobic. Either way, you can’t convince the internetz that that’s not Wale in the picture below. What are you thouhts?
All I know is yall better leave Wale alone. Yall know he’s experienced suicidal thoughts in the past, and that he’s been considering quitting music.

(AllHipHop News) Migos has linked with Spotify to releases two new tracks earlier today (February 8).
The two songs were recorded at Spotify’s studio in New York City last month, along with engineer and DJ, DJ Durell.
During the session, Migos turned their “Dab Of Ranch” video in honor of their alignment with of potato chip brand Rap Snacks, into a full three-minute song.
The group also recorded a special version of their latest single “T-shirt,” which can be also be found on Spotify.
Take a look at a few photos from the recording session below:
(AllHipHop Features) In the Information Age, music artists continue to devise new ways to connect directly with the public. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat offer entertainers the opportunity for viral challenges, memes, and live video to elevate them to positions of widespread popularity.
Sage The Gemini is one of the contemporary acts that effectively uses social media to bring attention to his artistry. The California-bred songwriter and producer turned what may seem to be just a silly Snapchat filter into a genius marketing move for his 2016 song.
“Now and Later” was released as a single in mid-October and was added as the soundtrack for a sunglasses feature on Snapchat. The track quickly spread across cyberspace when A-list celebrities like Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, and Khloe Kardashian were seen rocking the colored-tinted virtual eyewear on the social network.
The video for “Now and Later” has also collected over 11 million views on YouTube and the Soundcloud version of the song currently sits at over 2.7 million plays. Sage followed the noteworthy buzz for the record by heading out on the “West For The Winter Tour.”
A video diary from the 13-city trek is now available, with more content from The HBK Gang affiliate in the works. It has been three years since his Remember Me album was released, but Sage insists he’s still coming with a sophomore set titled Bachelor Party in the near future.
After dealing with a public breakup from singer Jordan Sparks and other unsubstantiated tabloid rumors, Sage The Gemini is ready for fans to focus on his music and not his personal matters. I spoke with the man born Dominic Woods by phone last week, and our conversation delved into his creative direction, his command of social media, and more.
How’s the tour going?
Everything has been amazing.
Right now you’re on the West Coast. Do you plan on extending the tour to other regions?
That’s a bridge we’ll cross when we get to it. Right now, we’re securing the West Coast. I’m going to wait until I put out some more music so I can go out there with more material.
You recorded a recap for the tour. What can your fans expect to see in that video?
It’s showing the personalities of the people who I’m working with. It’s a lot of fun stuff. It shows how I interact with my fans. Honestly, I haven’t even seen it yet. It’s just stuff I’ve been doing.
So you’ve just been living and the cameras were just following you?
Yep. [laughs]
You mentioned being interactive with your fans. You’re someone that’s pretty open about your life on social media. Not all artists choose to do that. Why do you choose to be so active on social media?
Just so people can realize I’m an actual human being, that the stuff that I go through is exactly what they go through, and I’m no different from them. It lets people know the difference between a situation that’s normal and one that has been exaggerated because they are a lot of trolls on the internet. I’m just letting people see what reality is.
You’ve been able to harness social media and turn it into a hit record with “Now and Later.” How did the Snapchat filter for that song come together?
The song came out and we wanted to do a great marketing strategy. Two great minds came together with this plan, and they brought it to Snapchat. My great marketing team at Atlantic and my management brought it to Snapchat. Snapchat believed in it. Shout out to Snapchat. They used my shades I usually wear. They put it to use as a Snapchat filter, so everyone could look like me while still rapping my song. [laughs]
A lot of celebrities have used the filter. What was your reaction to seeing the Kardashians and Kevin Hart using it?
My heart, as well as my mouth, just dropped to the floor. I was like, “What the…” Kevin Hart used it like six times.
Have you seen an increase in the numbers?
Yes! A lot. It’s crazy. “Gas Pedal” has been out for like five years and it has like 63 million plays on Spotify. That record came out [last fall] and it has 75 million plays.
Is this intended to be the lead single to the album? Is the rollout process beginning?
I don’t know yet. I’m just doing what I do. I’m honestly just releasing music. I’m just creating the music in my thought process. I’m leaving it up to the label to do all that.
Are you still sticking with the title Bachelor Party?
Most definitely. You know the concept of going through trial-and-error, just trying to find yourself before you get married – it’s basically like I’m done playing games. Things are about to get real. I’m about to marry this music and show what commitment looks like when doing this music. Just to let people know – he’s a grown up in the music now, he’s going to start showing talent.
It’s been a while since you put out an album. What’s the sound that you find yourself attracted to at the moment?
All of them. It doesn’t matter. I’m just attracted to music, period. I’m just making music. I don’t want to be “Bay Area famous.” I don’t want to be “California famous.” I want to be a worldwide, international Pop, Hip Hop artist. So I’m doing everything right now. I’m not sticking to one thing. So you’ll be hearing a lot of different stuff out of me – rapping fast, being lyrical, being not so lyrical, being more melodic. All that stuff.
You want to go for the Pop icon status. As you know, the more famous you become, the more stuff you have to deal with as far as the media, especially with social media. You talked about trolls before. How do you manage to brush off the negativity that comes at you online?
I let go and let God. I just worry about music and I don’t talk about none of that. I just do music. That’s what I came here to do. If they’re talking about me on social media, then I must be famous. I must be doing something right with my music for people to feel like every time something is going on they got to mention it to the world. They do that to famous people. So for me to be mentioned at a place where people always mention famous people, I must be doing something right with the music.
So you embrace the fame? Some artists don’t. They try to avoid the spotlight.
It’s annoying. But like I said, I look at the positive in it. I don’t keep talking about it. I don’t acknowledge it. I just do what I do. Because at the end of the day, if people don’t love me, God will love me.
I’m sure you get a lot of positive feedback from your fans as well.
Most definitely. The positive always outweighs the negative.
You have the single out now that’s buzzing. You’re touring. Then Kehlani just dropped her album. What’s the vibe like among the HBK collective at the moment?
Everybody’s just working. Everybody’s congratulating everyone and working on ourselves as people. We’re still having fun. Everybody’s good. We’re stronger than ever. The young Wu-Tang. [laughs]
So are you guys planning on coming together and doing projects as a unit?
I’m pretty sure. Everybody has their own life. We all didn’t come out the same mother, so everyone has a different thought process. So when we come to that [point], then we’ll do that most definitely.
There’s a lot happening in the world right now. There’s been a discussion in the Hip Hop community about whether or not artists should take a stand on issues that are affecting people’s lives. What are your thoughts about that?
Of course, I can see where people are coming from when they say artists should speak out more. But honestly, just because we sell records, ain’t nobody going to listen to us. Just like they don’t listen to other people. We’re just people just like them.
If you feel like you’re intelligent enough to say some stuff that can get people to open their eyes, then most definitely. But you can’t ask an artist to speak out when you have a voice too. Don’t spend your time asking me to speak when you should be speaking out as well.
We’re going to do what we have to do. Just because we’re not saying it in the media and trying to get likes, doesn’t mean we’re not trying to speak out in real life. You don’t know what we got going on. Don’t worry about us. You got to worry about what you’re saying, what you’re contributing. We’re going to do what we need to do in private.
I’m about to sit my ass down and think about what the hell I’m about to say. I don’t need no pressure from you because all that’s going to do is f-ck up what the hell I got going on because I’m trying to please you instead of trying to make the situation better.
I don’t need to please you. I need to be able to sound intelligent when making a damn point instead of trying to get likes on Facebook and Instagram. We don’t need to do that. Don’t worry about me. You need to worry about yourself, period.
There’s definitely a good and bad side to social media.
There is. I feel like people should just pray on situations. There’s a lot of horrible stuff happening in the world and there are a lot of great things that’s happening in the world. If you’re intelligent enough to go out there and speak or lend a helping hand, by all means, if that’s what you want to do, go ahead. We all have voices, but that doesn’t mean that you should speak. Not everybody is meant to be a spokesperson.
You show a lot of your personality to your fans. Is there any interest in going into other areas of entertainment like comedy or acting?
Most definitely. When the time is right, I’m going to go for some movie roles if the role is right.
You have to jump on one of these biopics. [laughs] That’s the wave right now. Look at The New Edition Story and Straight Outta Compton.
That would be crazy. [laughs] My partner Keith Powers from Sacramento was in New Edition. Shout out to him. That was tight.

(AllHipHop News) Philadelphia Hip Hop fans should brace themselves for another potential intra-city spat.
After Meek Mill had issues with Beanie Sigel last year, another State Property alumnus is firing shots at the Dreamchasers leader.
Oschino took to Instagram to blast Meek, calling him a “coward” in one post.
“THE NERVE OF THIS DUDE F-CKING COWARD!!” wrote the Philly rapper in the caption of a video.
In the reposted clip, Meek is seen talking about how Oschino was one of the few people that gave him a feature verse in the early days of his career.
Some of Oschino’s followers were confused about the motive behind the post, so he added another IG video explaining why he has issues with Meek.
“I know y’all were wondering why I put that video up. It’s to let n-ggas know, who ain’t from Philly, who the boy was hanging with when he ain’t have sh-t,” he stated.
Oschino went on to explain that he expected Meek to support his Appetizer projects on social media after they apparently agreed to promote each other’s work.
“I look at his page. My sh-t ain’t up. I look again. His page’s deactivated. So I was talking about it on [Instagram Live]. He must of watched my page from somebody else’s Live,” recalled Oschino. “I don’t know what I said. But whatever I said, he caught feelings. He’s a sissy n-gga. Y’all know he’s a sissy n-gga. The same n-gga who got mad about Drake and Wale not putting his sh-t up.”
Oschino then claimed a text conversation between he and Meek featured the MMG member reportedly saying, “Don’t text my phone. I don’t owe you nothing. I ain’t scared of you.”
Meek may have responded to the IG attack on his own page by adding the caption “Doors on the coupe waaaaaayyyy up….. it’s so easy to hateeee us!” to a recent picture.
Prior to this recent falling out, Oschino actually defended Meek during his feud with Beanie Sigel.
“First of all, I think it’s Beans’ fault, personally. Because at the end of the day Beans don’t even know Meek at all, you know what I’m saying? He don’t even know him, so for him to jump in Meek and The Game’s beef is just like, What is you doin’? You supposed to carry yourself a different type of way,” Oschino is quoted saying in a 2016 article.

(AllHipHop News) A promoter is suing Young Thug, claiming that the Atlanta rapper botched a show, which ended up costing him hundreds of thousands of dollars.
A concert organizer named Nicholas Fitts filed the lawsuit in Cobb County, Georgia court claiming the rapper skipped out on a concert in August.
According to the lawsuit, Young Thug had signed a $55,000 contract for the concert, which was supposed to take place at Sahlen’s Stadium in Rochester, New York.
Apparently, Young Thug skipped the show with no “valid legal reason” and caused the promoter to lose over $200,000 in ticket sales, in addition to the $57,000 he spent in marketing and promotional costs.
All told, the promoter is seeking over $360,000 from Young Thug and his company YSL Enterprises.
Young Thug has faced several legal challenges over the past 12 months.
In December of 2016, he was hit with a lawsuit from a limousine company for failing to pay almost $20,000 in outstanding bills.
In May, Thug was also sued by an online hip-hop merchandiser who claimed they paid the rapper a $5,000 down payment for a track, but the rapper never delivered his verse.
(AllHipHop Rumors) I don’t know about this one man…….
Word on the street is that Lil Wayne and Chief Keef may be gearing up to create a joint album.
Out of all the rappers that I’d take a joint Lil Wayne album from, Chief doesn’t come to mind or make the list.
Anyway a video has surfaced of Chief Keef‘s team discussing an upcoming joint project from Keef and Lil Wayne.
Allegedly the collaborative effort will be called ‘Young Glo Money’, and it will drop sometime in August.
“We just did an album with Lil Wayne b-tch. Sosa and Lil Wayne got an album coming out in August. Sosa and Lil Wayne in August, the album, Young Glo Money. It’s called Young Glo Money, Lil Wayne and Chief Keef. The album coming out August, Young Glo Money,” said one of the crew members.”
Is this what you wanted? Is this what the streets have been asking for? LOL. What are your thoughts?
