Bobby Shmurda Placed In Protective Custody After Stabbing Attempt

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Bobby Shmurda has reportedly pleaded guilty in his prison contraband case as part of a deal with prosecutors.

The hip-hop star, real name Ackquille Pollard, was arrested in June, 2015 after he was caught in possession of a “sharpened metal instrument” while behind bars at New York’s notorious Rikers Island prison.

He allegedly received the object during a visit from his girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau.

The 22-year-old pleaded not guilty after he was indicted on perjury, weapons possession and promoting prison contraband charges in July, 2015.

He faced up to seven years in prison if convicted, but in December, an assistant district attorney offered Shmurda a deal of one to four years under lockdown for the contraband charge.

The rapper recently pleaded guilty to one count of attempted promoting prison contraband.

Under the deal, he will serve time concurrent with his sentence for conspiracy and weapons possession, which he has already begun.

He will also not be able to appeal the sentence or vote or serve on jury duty after he is released.

Meanwhile, Pollard has reportedly been relocated from New York’s Downstate Prison to the Clinton Correctional Facility after another inmate tried to stab him during a meal break last month.

He has been placed in protective custody.

He is due back in court next month for a sentencing hearing for the contraband case.

The news comes months after Pollard was sentenced to serve seven years behind bars for conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon in October.

That punishment stems from an arrest during a sting operation in Manhattan in 2014, when he was charged with counts of conspiracy to commit murder, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and more.

Pollard’s other charges were dismissed as part of a plea deal and he was given credit for time served.

During his London show on Thursday Drizzy told the crowd that they were acting a bit tense.

“I think you a little tense tonight. You acting like this sh-t is like some Omarion like Chris Brown soulja sh-t, this not that kinda show. I’ma turnt up n-gga,” said Drake.

You know Drake is no stranger to starting or finishing stuff, and he’s definitely not new to having a few bold moments. I mean his enemy Meek Mill recently got dumped and he has now reunited with Meek’s ex Nicki Minaj. Rihanna and J-Lo were friends, and you see who he moved on with. The boy is calculated!

I just want to know what Omarion and Soulja Boy did to deserve this mention. LOL.

Chris Brown says he’s going to go mute on you n-ggas this year. He says it ain’t no talking no mo’, but when he pulls up on you it’s going down. He says people will slick talk until they are all in the same room.

The Game & The Barbz Think Meek Mill Set Up Nicki Minaj’s Burglary

(AllHipHop Rumors) Bad, bad, bad timing for Meek Mill.

As you know Queen Barbie Nicki Minaj’s Los Angeles mansion was burglarized for $200k worth of items and damage.

People wasted no time blaming the incident on her L taking ex, Meek Mill.

Officials are describing the burglary as personal since the thieves stole not only jewelry, but as they also cut up Nicki’s clothes, and broke perfume bottles and picture frames.

Now Nicki’s crazy fan base, The Barbz, are completely convinced that Meek Mill set up the burglary as revenge for Nicki Minaj reuniting with Drake. Hell, The Game even seemed to hint that he thinks the same.

Earlier this week, The Game taunted his fellow enemy Meek on Instagram by reposting a photo of Drake and Nicki, with a caption that contained Drake’s “Back To Back” lyrics that were a clear diss for Meek. Now he believes that Meek set this up as he commented,

“P-ssy n-ggas do p-ssy things.”

Timbaland Accused Of Owing Divorce Lawyers Over $400,000

(AllHipHop News) Music mogul Timbaland’s divorce lawyers have filed a lien against his Florida mansion for allegedly failing to pay for their services.

“The Way I Are” singer and music producer, real name Timothy Zachery Mosley, split from Monique Mosley in 2013, when she filed paperwork to end their five-year marriage.

However, the petition was dismissed in 2014 after a reconciliation but she filed divorce papers again in 2015.

The former couple has been embroiled in a legal battle over child support and alimony ever since, and lawyers representing Timbaland in the case have claimed they haven’t been paid for their work between September, 2015 and November, 2016.

They allege they are currently owed $440,000 rising with interest, according to reports.

They have slapped a charging lien against his $5 million mansion in Miami, Florida, which is reportedly up for sale.

The lien ensures they are paid first from any real or personal property Timbaland is awarded in the divorce settlement.

The former couple share nine-year-old daughter Reign.

As you know Eminem hasn’t exactly been the best of friends with political officials, so it’s to no one’s surprise that he had some unkind words for your President, Donald Trump.

Em decided to get a few things off of his chest as he lent a verse to Big Sean’s “No Favors” track off of his new ‘I Decided’ album. Em raps,

“I’m anti, can’t no government handle a commando. Your man don’t want it, Trump’s a b-tch. I’ll make his whole brand go under.”

There aren’t really anymore political offerings in the song, but it’s clear what Em’s stance is on Donald Trump and his f-ckery.

Remember Em took a shot at Trump and his supporters on “Campaign Speech” as well.

“Run the faucet, I’mma dunk. A bunch of Trump supporters underwater… A f-ckin’ loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button. Who doesn’t have to answer to no one great idea!” rapped Em.

Snoop and Martha Get Their Own Super Bowl Commercial

Representatives for T-Mobile have confirmed that the pair will star in a commercial, that will debut during the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 5th).

The commercial will hype up T-Mobile’s 4GLTE Network.

Both Snoop and Martha are cashing in on the success of their hit new show, “Martha and Snoops Pot Luck Dinner Party,” which airs which airs on VH1.

The new season of the show launches on February 13th.

(AllHipHop News) Are two of the south’s most talented – and some would say most underrated – rappers getting ready to collaborate on a full body of work?

New Orleans spitter Curren$y gave the impression he and Mississippi’s Big K.R.I.T. could be doing just that.

Curren$y posted a video with K.R.I.T. where the two emcees seemingly joked about coming together for a joint project.

The caption for the vid reads, “And so the project was born….. ‘Lacs n Chevys.'”

K.R.I.T. and Curren$y have worked on music together numerous times in the past.

Both rappers appeared on K.R.I.T.’s “Moon & Stars (Remix),” Curren$y’s “Jet Life,” and several other records.

Earlier this month, Curren$y hinted he was also teaming with Freddie Gibbs for an EP titled Fetti.

The Jet Life Recordings leader previously collaborated on a joint project with Wiz Khalifa, Styles P, Smoke DZA, and others.

And so the project was born….. “Lacs n Chevys”

Sean “Diddy” Combs Hospitalized For Knee Surgery

(AllHipHop News) Last night, Sean “Diddy” Combs let the world know he underwent knee surgery and is currently recovering well.

Diddy posted several Instagram pictures of himself in a hospital bed.

Five of his children –  Justin, Christian, D’Lila, Jessie, and Chance – were also photographed at the medical facility with their father.

The Bad Boy founder posted on IG:

Just had my final knee surgery. They said I’d never run again. I SAID THE DEVIL IS A LIAR.!! 3 surgeries in one year! 3rd times a the charm!!! #Rebirth don’t take the simple things in life for granted. Thank you to all the surgeons and docs and PTs. In a separate post, he wrote:

Chance The Rapper To Perform At 2017 Grammy Awards

(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper is up for seven nominations at this year’s Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Rap Album for Coloring Book.

In addition, the Chicago native made history when Coloring Book became the first streaming-only project to receive a nod.

The Recording Academy has now announced the Chicago native will also take the stage at the ceremony.

Soul rocker Gary Clark Jr. was also added to the Grammy line-up.

Previously, it was revealed A Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak will perform together that night.

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards are scheduled to air Sunday, February 12 at 8 pm on CBS.
