10 Minute Man: Young Thug Claims Ability to Make “Perfect Song” in Just Minutes?

Recently, Young Thug made an astonishing claim that he creates songs in mere minutes. Thugger explained that while some of his Hip-Hop competitors like Lil Wayne and Drake require ample time to make songs, he can do “a perfect song in ten minutes,” this according to Dazed magazine.

Spontaneous sixteens and perhaps a compromised memory have lead Thugger to this uncanny ability. He clarified to the publication, “I think as I go, I can’t remember 16 bars. Unless you write it, you can’t. I just do it bar for bar. I did a song in eight minutes. ” Later, The Barter 6 rapper then revealed that “Stoner,” was an arduous task taking “almost an hour,” to create; whereas, “Danny Glover,” was finished in only “eight minutes.”

“I thought everybody could write songs that fast,” said Thug. He soon added, “But working with a lot of them, they don’t. Wayne and Drake, it takes them so long to do a song. I understand why, because they want it to be perfect. But I think I can do a perfect song in ten minutes.”

So far, what’s been Young Thug’s best track? How long did it take him to make it?

Like the Rap God’s that came before him, Tupac (Me & My Girlfriend), Nas (Money Is My B*itch), Jay-Z (Girls Best Friend). Smoke Bulga (pronounced Bulger) paints a vivid picture on his latest single,”Cocaina” of how the art of hustling reminds him of his favorite girl. With lines like,“Like Spike I put that ice on Cocaina.” In reference to a scene in Spike Lee’s movie “Do The Right Thing” where Spike Lee puts ice on Rosie Perez, just as crack dealers puts ice on their product in the process of hardening cocaine to crack. Cocaina is a Certified Street Anthem that can do well in any region. It is the first single off of Smoke’s upcoming release “Bossalini”, and with street bangers like this.. Smoke is well on his way to making his mark in the hip hop arena!
