PREMIERE: FrontStreet – “Really In The Trap”

When you live in the trap with limited options, unfortunately you’ve only got two choices; selling dope or becoming a rapper and for Atlanta rapper, FrontStreet he chose the former. Born and raised in Bankhead, West Atlanta and sharing the same local grocery store as T.I., Young Dro & Shawty Lo. FrontSteet, who got his name from being on the block and literally standing out on the ‘front street,’ his stint in jail was the wake up call for him to refocus his energy into becoming an artist.

The accomplished lyricist has been grinding it out for over a decade, honing his craft and growing his fan base. Having already previously earned the #1 spot on the billboard charts: (Hot Single Sales)/ (Hot R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales) in 2013 with “You Don’t Know Nothing ‘Bout This!” ensures FrontStreets ability as a chart topper.

Signed to independent record label, Good Life Music Group, FrontStreet’s in good company. Alongside label mates; Issa, Law G and T Black The Hitmaker, they recently dropped their mixtape: Family Ties, which catapulted them to underground superstardom. After the success of their recent mix tape release party, FrontStreet’s in high spirits where he’s continuing to grind it out in the studio and getting ready to release his individual project, Playground Legend.

Throughout the course of his career FrontStreet has worked with some of the biggest and most respected names in the industry, most notable Malik Yusef – co-writer to Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih, Shawty Lo, who FrontStreet considers as one of his musical mentors.

Today we exclusively drop his music video for “Really In The Trap”, the underground track of the summer produced by T Black The Hit Maker, and Atlanta’s unofficial street anthem. “This song is about trying to live life and feed my kids.” Says FrontStreet. “I just wanted to write a song that my fans could connect with on a real life level.”
