Sandra Bland’s Family To File Federal Lawsuit Against Arresting State Trooper

The family of Sandra Bland is filing a federal lawsuit against the state trooper who arrested her as well as other authorities, NBC reports. Police say that Bland committed suicide three days after being arrested after being stopped for failing to signal a lane change. Bland’s family does not believe the suicide claim and said that authorities have been withholding information from them.

“The bottom line is: She never should have been inside of the jail, period,” said Bland’s mother Geneva Reed-Veal.

The lawsuit holds the Department of Public Safety responsible for Bland’s death and claims that the state trooper acted recklessly in arresting her while other officers showed a “conscious disregard for her safety.” The family also wants the Department of Justice to investigate her death as well.

They are seeking unspecified damages.

Regardless, this has been some great entertainment. 50 Cent even said that Drake must have been watching him. 50 Cent’s commentary was entertaining up until the point of him suggesting that Meek may have to shoot Drake. C’mon Fiddy we have to keep it on wax and Power Points! 50 also said Drake really took it there by having Philly native Will Smith in the building! Did Drake pull the ultimate “Philly move” by having Will Smith at OVO Fest?

50 Cent’s Finances Revealed In Bankruptcy Documents

According to a bankruptcy documents, 50 cent spends $108,000 a month and has a monthly income of $185,000, Billboard reports. His income is mainly from interest from investments and royalties.

His expenses cost a pretty penny as well. The Southpaw star reportedly spends $72,000 a month to maintain his Connecticut mansion, which was once home to Mike Tyson. The documents also say that Fif owes money to his fitness coach, stylist and barber.

The G-Unit rep filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy after a judge ordered him to pay $7 million to Rick Ross’ ex-girlfriend for releasing a sex tape of her and her ex-boyfriend in 2009.
