Fans have been waiting patiently for Tha Carter V and to show his fans appreciation for their patience, Lil’ Wayne seems to be releasing a bevy of new music for free. He took to Twitter this morning (Feb.5) to announce that he is releasing The Free Weezy Album, a follow up to Sorry 4 The Wait 2, which was released two weeks ago (Jan. 20).
This isn’t the only free album the Young Money general has up his sleeve. Word has it that Dedication 6 is on the way as well. DJ Drama announced via Instagram that mixtape was on the way, posting the caption “Sorry For The Wait 2. Carter V. Dedication 6.” under a pic of him, Wayne and Mack Maine.
Tunechi is currently battling with Brian “Baby” Williams to be released from his contract at Cash Money Records, the label he has called home since he was a teen. Weezy filed a $51 million lawsuit against Baby, claiming that he owes him millions of dollars for his delayed Tha Carter V album. Wayne says since he was not paid the advances he was supposed to receive once the album was finished and the album has not been released, he is entitled to bail from the label.
Jay-Z and Beyonce’ were spotted out recently at a sushi restaurant in L.A. and supposedly got in to a small argument in front of a few diners.
Naughty Gossip reports:
“A diner in the restaurant reports, “They were sitting together and chatting for awhile, but then Jay-Z starting staring at his phone. Beyonce looked BEYOND p#####. She eventually said his name and wagged her finger at him. He didn’t dare look at his phone for the rest of the meal.””
Queen Bey not playing no games. Look at that finger. She definitely gave Jay a piece of her mind, you know she was going in about something. SMH.

These young people must not know: Wu Tang Clan Ain’t Nuttin’ To F**k Wit! Ghostface used to slap fire out of people back in the day! Some idiot decided it was a good idea to heckle the god Ghost at a show in Texas. Why do people go to a show to heckle the show they paid for.
Real fans represented. So lets call it “Wu Tang FANS Ain’t Nuttin’ To F**k Wit!”
If there’s one thing we know about songstress Rihanna it’s that she’s fearless; having already posed with snakes she’s upped the ante by swimming alongside the king of the sea in a recent photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar’s upcoming March issue. Shot by actual diver and photographer Norma Jean Roy, the bad girl herself dives underwater for an incredible shoot next to a great white shark.
Using her Twitter account she sent out “Photographer NORMAN JEAN ROY shot my Cover and underwater cover story! Stay tuned!! @harpersbazaarus” and “Check what happens when a badgal and fashion photographer/certified diver Norman Jean Roy get together!” She also added “Then this happened …. #bucketlistsh*t Thank you @harpersbazaarus for such a thrilling shoot!!”
Take a behind the scenes look as she braves the wild:
Nice to see that kids got some fire in the belly. I don’t know if this kid was in the right, but certainly when an administrator suggests it was a justified assault, you tend to side with the student. Anyway, this teacher said some kind of racial comment and got socked for it. Peep the report from TheRoot.com. That teacher got F**KED UP! I cannot condone it based on the picture of the old man.
A Maryland high school teacher was punched and had to be hospitalized last week after witnesses claimed he made a racially insensitive remark, according to NBC Washington. According to the news station, the unnamed teacher at Forestville High School was assaulted Jan. 29 after a male student misinterpreted a comment the instructor made during class.
The Prince George’s County school system declined to state what the teacher said or what the student believed he heard, because of an ongoing investigation into the incident.
“If the comment was made that I was told was made, I can understand the pain and the anger in that student,” parent Cynthia Leslie told the news station.
The news station notes that the teacher was injured and added that the student would be disciplined. There was no word on whether the student would be criminally charged.”
Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus has caused quite a commotion as his football stardom has flown to new heights.
Now, Cordell – a high school senior – has opted to head over to UCLA and begin his education. He also happens to be one of the top wide receivers in the nation.
“I just want to play in front of my family,” Cordell told ESPN.
Diddy’s son Justin Combs is a sophomore at UCLA as a football player so the pair will play as team.
Snoop said, ”I’m gonna back him up 100% … so I’m throwing out my USC drawers.” Cordell was expected to go to USC, who Snoop is a big fan of.
Jay Z is leaving his beloved New York City for the sunnier weather in California.
In reality, the BK-bred rapper is moving there with his family, Beyonce and Blue Ivy. Blue has already been enrolled in school.

Nicki Minaj is becoming a ubiquitous presence. The Trini-enriched, Queens-native, started her burgeoning empire by moving dope mixtapes. Captivating sixteens and a striking style have helped to secure the spotlight. Covering Rolling Stone magazine, acting in Hollywood premieres, and endorsing an array of products, are reasons why the shrewd MC has been consistently listed in the Forbes magazine, ‘Hip-Hop Cash Kings List.’
With the recent launch of the ‘Minajesty,’ Spring / Summer collection, the creative entrepreneur is again expanding her revenue stream. Teaming up with Andy Hilfiger, whose artistic fineness has shaped years of fashion, Creative Director, Kianga Peterson and Senior Designer, Farai Simoyi – this trio has beenhas been entrusted to assist in nurturing Nicki’s bold ideas to fruition.
Los Angeles based emcee Demrick, formerly known as Young De, rose through the ranks of the hip-hop scene when his mixtapes “Audio Hustlaz Vol. 1” and “Homeland Security” ignited the internet. Since then, Demrick has continuously raised the bar as a lyricist collaborating with high profile artists such as Xzibit, Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, B-Real, Royce Da 5’9, Crooked I, Freeway, Too $hort and Cypress Hill. In 2013, Demrick was invited by B-Real and Xzibit to join them in the formation of a new super-group dubbed the Serial Killers, and they released their now classic “Serial Killers Vol. 1” album on Halloween.
After wrapping up a Canadian tour with Madchild, Demrick continues to add to the hype for his upcoming Battle Axe debut “Losing Focus” with the release of his new single “Skyscraper” featuring Logic and King Chip. “Losing Focus” is set for a February 24th release through Battle Axe Records and will feature collaborations with Dizzy Wright, Logic, B-Real from Cypress Hill and Xzibit. If you ask J. Cole, you haven’t made it until a marching band at a historically black college or university jazzes up your song. He came to this revelation after watching Southern University’s marching band, deemed the Human Jukebox, play their own rendition of his 2014 Forest Hills Drive track, “Wet Dreamz,” laced with the triumphant sounds of horns, trumpets and trombones.

This is the first release from Audra’s Retrospectrum EP due in March.
In an interview with GQ, the ATLien spoke about why hip-hop is a young man’s game, saying that older emcees are not getting any love from the youth. He even lightly shaded Jay Z and said that his age keeps him from purchasing his music.
“If you’re 30, 40 years old, you’re not getting listened to by minors,” said the 22-year-old. “Like, Jay Z has some of the sickest lyrics ever, but I would never buy his CD, just because of my age and because of his age. By the time I turn that old, I ain’t gonna be doing what he’s doing.”
The “Stoner” rapper also said he doesn’t want to be rapping past 40 either, like Jay Z.
“I don’t want to be 50 years old and rapping, man. I’m pretty sure nobody wants to do that. I’m pretty sure Jay Z don’t wanna rap right now.”
I heard, but didn’t see it. I heard that A$AP Rocky has been taking some shots at 50 Cent on social media, but I don’t see any evidence of it. As you know, 50 Cent somehow got into his ex’s DMs and A$AP hit her up, seemingly just to “build.” Then, 50 Cent made an off-color comment about A$AP wearing a dress or something. The Harlem rapper responded with something regarding “keep it classy” and that he didn’t know Tatted Up Holly was with 50. Yeah…I guess that’s possible. After that, A$AP apparently posted some stuff that was later taken down. This is not “beef” like we typically think about. Still, he said on Twitter, “IM WIT ALL THE S####, YALH GOT ME FUKED UP. NI99AS OUT HERE BE IN THEY GIRL’S DM’S MORE THAN ME N SH!T, EMO THUGS, MAKIN US ALL LOOK SILLY.” Then again, A$AP and them dudes get down in the street, please believe. How 50 Cent get in the DM’s anyway?
Montreality caught up with Lil’ Bibby to ask their usual rundown of questions. Besides talking about his jobs as a teenager and what he did with his first check, the “Water” rapper also spoke about his relationship with MTV personality and radio host Sway and how he feels about doing interviews with him.
“Sway’s interviews man, I don’t really like them,” he laughed. “He be trying to get too deep, man. He’s an expert…I think he can see in your eyes if you’ve been through some s### so he asks all the right questions. He tries to cut deep. He gets me in my feelings sometimes.”
Bibby is actually one of Drake’s favorites and when he messaged the 20-year-old via Twitter to say that he was waiting on his Free Crack mixtape in 2013, Bib says he put the pressure on him. Drizzy has even reached out to the Chicago emcee to collaborate on wax but the song still has not come to life.
When asked, Bibby says their song would be “a deep, deep song” with ” a lot of melodies” and “crazy bars and crazy flows.”
“If it’s not a hit it’ll probably be a track that you can play 10, 20 years from now.”
Watch the interview below to hear Bibby’s thoughts on Chief Keef getting dropped from Interscope, his definition of a ‘G’ and more.
