A Happy Halloween from AllHipHop to you and your family(or just your candy-obsessed self). What do you get when you combine social media with Hip Hop and a day dedicated to assuming another identity? Public displays of people impersonating Hip Hop artists.
While there have been some distasteful costumes as of late (Blackface is NOT a costume), Halloween usually displays the ingenuity and craftsmanship of average people. Two traits that are integral to Hip Hop.
The meme gold that was Drake’s Nothing Was The Same cover unsurprisingly translated into equally as inventive pieces of comedy:

Dame Dash is one of the most important people in Hip-Hop history. However, the last few years…have not been kind. The recent word on the street is that Dame is in more mess. Well, first of all, he has had to vacate an upstate mansion he was renting. The word on the street is that he left EVERYTHING in it. Now, that’s a sale I’d like to be at! I’ve seen the insides of the house and its PHAT! (That’s right, I said PHAT.” Hopefully, he was able to recover most of his personal items.
BUT…there’s always a but.
PageSix wrote a not so flattering piece that said Dame trashed the mansion and there were even drugs left in it. (I’m sure it was just weed, but still…)
Roc-a-fella Records co-founder Damon Dash trashed and abandoned his upstate mansion, leaving behind bongs and dirty laundry — but also jewelry and artwork, new court documents claim.
The hip-hop mogul — who once said he was worth $50 million — owes $162,000 in back rent on the upstate Carmel pad, which boasts a music studio and pool.
The landlord’s lawyer, Thomas Mullaney, told The Post that Dash “held the house hostage” for a year in a half while he dodged rental payments of $15,000 a month before he left it all behind.
The carpets were ruined, and his “clothing strewn on the floor as if it were trash,” according to the landlord’s Putnam County lawsuit.“Mr. Dash simply abandoned the property,” owner Elad Yoran huffs in his lawsuit filed in Putnam County.
Dash claims that he’s fallen on hard times, but Yoran’s lawyer said, “When I look online, he’s rolling around in a chauffeured Roll Royce, and he’s riding in a private plane.
“He’s not living the life of someone who is trying to keep their expenses down so they can pay their obligations,” Mullaney said.
Now, Dame has a lot of new business ventures. Maybe he’s playing a game with his debtors and and stashing his money? I dunno.“They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!” -illseed.

Happy Halloween!!! Although many of us are gearing up to celebrate Halloween tonight, some of our favorite celebrities got dressed up and celebrated over the weekend with their significant others.
While Halloween only comes once a year for most of us, when you’re in the entertainment business, Halloween might come everyday! Check out the Top 5 List of Rappers Who Dress Like It’s Halloween Everyday:
5) Lil’ B
From wearing long chandelier earrings, to big floppy church lady hats, to lipstick in some instances, Lil’ B’s fashion sense is very….uh, Halloween-ish! Check out some of his most outrageously Halloween-inspired looks below:
4) French Montana
Frenchie definitely isn’t always an over the top dresser, but he certainly has a costume like way of dressing that I can only see being exhibited more in the future. I am putting French Montana on this list because what he has shown us fashion-wise so far…anyone remember that GQ Magazine staff make-over……
….and how about his XXL Mag Freshman cover with the bear head……
French Montana has put Versace back on the map in a very big way. Check out Frenchie’s most Halloween-a-licious outfits below:
3) Andre 3000
Although Andre 3000 has been dressing a lot more dapper these days now that he’s focusing on his acting career…
…..Andre 3000 still makes our list due to the sheer number of years that he embraced what I’m now calling “Halloween Couture”. Check out a few of his wackiest style choices below:
2) Lil’ Wayne
Weezy F. Baby has an interesting sense of style to say the least. The latest celebrity fashion designer who has brought his unique style to the forefront with his Trukfit clothing line, has unfortunately been spotted rocking some questinable attire since his release from the pen. Check out some of Weezy’s most pause-worthy outfits below:
1) Nicki Minaj
From the moment she stepped onto the scene, Nicki has changed her wigs more than she changes her underwear (I can only imagine!). From dressing up in outfits ranging from an evil Lil’ Red Riding Hood who escaped from hell……..
…….to a sexy astronaut from an all female galaxy far far away.
– you never know what you will get when Nicki steps out for an event. Check out a few of her most Halloween-a-rific outfits below:
Kim Kardashian appeared on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night and said that the negative media coverage surrounding her pregnancy “hurt her soul.” As a result, she wants us to believe that she’s going to be more private because of it.
Yes, people were mean to her but I’m not convinced about the less attention w###### thing thanks to her most recent now infamous butt selfie and the fact that she Instagrammed her massive 15 carat engagement ring…I’m kinda not believing it. We shall see…
(AllHipHop News) Tashera Simmons was married with DMX for 14 years until their 2012 divorce and has seen her fair share of incredible DMX events. While talking with DTFRadio, the estranged ex-wife of Dark Man X vividly detailed an incident which involved an inebriated DMX firing a gun at his manager in a hotel.
According to Ms. Simmons, in 1999, while pregnant, her and DMX’s manager went searching for DMX at a New Jersey hotel after the MC had gone missing for three days. When the pair got to X’s room he greeted them with a gun and after some opposition, X finally agrees to pack up his belongings and leave the room. The paranoia returns when the three of them arrive downstairs and X sees a large gathering of people for a convention. Tashera attempted to calm him down, but before she knew it X let one off:
He was like ‘Yo Tashera, somebody’s following me. I’m telling you.’ The manager is about to lose it, like scared to death. Next thing you know we hear a pop and the manager fell to the floor. I’m like ‘what happened?’ and I see blood on the floor. Then X was like, ‘Somebody shot him. I told you somebody was following me’. Mind you, I go down to the floor to see where the manager was hit at which was the foot and you see the bottom of X’s bookbag with smoke and a hole at the bottom.
Check out the full interview below as Tashera explains how the pair fled the hotel, got caught by police and more:
