The college access battle is no longer a legal one; it is a purely financial one. For this reason, TMCF is gathering the nation’s most influential people on November 11th in our nation’s capitol to celebrate HBCUs and raise money for their students,” said Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., TMCF’s President and CEO in a statement.
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund Awards Gala will take place Monday, November 11th at the Washington Hilton. For more information and to purchase tickets/tables visit www.tmcfdcgala.com.
What the hell is going on with the Internet generation? Anyway, Two freshman students at Etowah High School in Woodstock, Ga. are facing criminal charges after they allegedly had oral sex in the school cafeteria Thursday. Mind you, this wasn’t an off time in the cafeteria, there were other people around.
Via Huffington Post:
“A female student allegedly made a sexual offer to a male classmate during lunch,” school spokeswoman Barbara Jacoby told the network. “The male classmate later told administrators that he thought this offer was a joke, but when the female student began to act upon it, the male student said he stopped her.”
Jacoby said the girl made the offer because another boy “dared” her to do so. Six other male students reportedly blocked other students and staff members from seeing what was going on.
“They stacked up a bunch of books and book bags and people surrounded them so that nobody would see,” student Taylor Powell told WSBTV.
But people did see it because it was recorded. There are conflicting reports. One person said that two boys filmed it but deleted it shortly after because they realized they could face criminal charges (child pornography). However, another student said that it was distributed. I’m going with the latter report because, how else would such a “carefully guarded” incident get out there to this magnitude? SMH.

Mona Scott-Young has confirmed that we can expect a Love & Hip-Hop Expansion to another city after all the rumors we’ve been hearing. Necole Bitchie caught up with the mogul and asked what was what. She responded with this:
“Of course New York starts up again October 28, so I am excited about that, and I am casting in a few other cities. There’s been a lot of chit chat on the interweb about that. I’m looking at L.A., I’m looking at Houston, looking at New Orleans. Yeah, we’re going to find another city to spread our wings into.”
She’s playing coy but we know she’ll go with the cast that has the most ratchet potential. I’m thinking it might boil down to New Orleans.
In related rumors, Karruechee Tran says she won’t be a part of Love & Hip-Hop LA.

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West is back doing interviews again and that means more polarizing soundbites have surfaced. In a recent interview with San Francisco The JV Show.
According to Kanye, his wife-to-be Kim Kardashian even had her questions about him portraying Jesus on stage, which Kanye answered in a way only Kanye West can:
I had a friend of mine that is a pastor there as we were discussing how we were going to do it. My girl even asked afterwards “isnt that weird if Jesus comes on stage or something like that?” No we do plays all the time where people play Jesus. What’s awesome about Christianity is that we are allowed to portray God.
One of the major debates that arose from Kanye’s portrayal of Jesus was his portrayal of the biblical figure as a White man. Kanye used that controversy as a point to finally address the constant implications of him being apart of the Illuminati.
The distractions are working. They try to distract your talking about some ‘That’s Illuminati’. Do anybody know what the Illuminati is supposed to be? What are you talking about right now?

There’s a lot of words on the street when it comes to the Love & Hip-Hop franchise but I overheard something else that I needed to share. We already know that K. Michelle and Erica Mena have some beef going on. It’s so bad that they can barely be in the same room with each other but the whispers are saying that Erica popped off because she thought Rich was trying to move in on her on-off again man/manager Rich Dollaz.
We know that K. Michelle can saaaaang and Rich is a smart guy when he wants to be so when it got back to Erica that Rich may have been talking business with K. Michelle, she wanted to put the kabosh on that early (since we know that Rich likes to mix business with pleasure) and took it out on K. Michelle.
In fact, this seems to be a recurring cycle now in the Rich/Erica saga but K. Michelle ain’t thinking about Rich romantically or from a business standpoint.
That’s all I heard but I guess we’ll have to see what happens when Love & Hip-Hop returns.
Hopsin is running rampant again. He’s got a dope new video called “Hopin Is Back” and it co-stars his doo-rap. He went hard and then took a hard left on Kanye and Kendrick. He basically says that Yeezus was some BS and that Kanye overstepped his bounds. On Kendrick, he basically pops of some funny lyrics about his height and whatever.
Here are the lyrics:
I gotta problem yo’
I was ecstatic to buy Yeezus
But I burned it first
Heard it and snapped in 5 pieces
Man Kanye on that bullsh*t!
That’s why the paparazzi made that ni**a hit his f**king head that’s what that fool get
You think you god now you half assin rap little fa**ot b**ch
Perhaps you suffered brain damage back when you had that accident?
But most importantly, hip hop isn’t dead no more you see
Cause Kendrick took the bar and raised it up higher for MCs
Unfortunately the little ni**a like 4 ft 3, the guys a fu**in’ midget
His high is still really short to meet
