(AllHipHop News) This is the definition of “reality tv”. On today’s (June 6th) live broadcast of NBC’s Today show, a man sliced both of his wrists.
According to witnesses, the man was disheveled and ranting about how the Internal Revenue Service ruined his life. After throwing a stack of IRS documents in the air, the man took out a pocket knife and screamed “I’m going to cut myself” before eventually slicing both his wrists.
The incident was not captured on live television but it did force Matt Lauer and the Today show crew to abort a planned segment outside.
The man was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital and he will survive.
Check below for a brief video of the police restraining the man after the incident:
(AllHipHop News) Slain ex- LAPD officer Christopher Dorner’s murder spree in February does not seem like it will be vindicated after the LAPD’s recent internal investigation found no evidence of racism and unjust behavior in his firing.
According to the Associated Press, Civil Rights Attorney Connie Rice claimed there was no While the LAPD has not officially made a statement on the investigation, Rice says Dorner had a history of exaggerating stories and making fraudulent complaints against fellow officers.
The firing was justified and his allegations are completely unfounded. This guy needed to go. And the question was, even if he needed to go, did the LAPD get rid of him in a way that was illegitimate? And the answer for me was no, says Rice
Rice also goes on to claim Dorner was virtually incomprehensible during his firing’s hearing and only filed the complaint against his training officer after discovering she gave him a bad performance review.

Dorner accused Sgt. Teresa Evans of kicking a handcuffed man while they were partners in 2007, however the claim was found to be a lie after an internal LAPD investigation. Evans was the one who gave police the tip that Dorner was the murderer of an Irvine, CA couple prior to the discovery of his manifesto.
Rice’s findings after a two week long investigation may have absolved the LAPD of racism in Dorner’s case but she says racism is still alive in the department:
Just because racism didn’t play a leading role in what happened to Dorner doesn’t mean the LAPD is now an inter-racial nirvana. It does still have serious problems like every department does and we shouldn’t forget that.

While Rice’s claims appear conclusive, the investigaion is not fully completed as it still needs to go to be reviewed by the inspector general and then to the Police Commission according to Police Commission President Andrea Ordin.

(AllHipHop News) The “he said, they said” involving Miguel’s stage dive at last month’s Billboard Music Awards has officially begun. Producers of the awards show claim they told Miguel not to attempt his jump over a crowd during his performance, but members of Miguel’s camp say that’s not true.
“The reports claiming that Miguel was warned by producers not to jump are completely false,” the R&B singer’s rep told Us Weekly.
TMZ reported yesterday that BBMA’s producers warned Miguel the stage dive would be too dangerous and Miguel ignored their warning.

TMZ is now reporting that sources close to Miguel say not only did producers never give a warning not to jump, but that Miguel practiced the jump twice during rehearsals and producers mentioned getting a good shot of the leap for the live show.
Miguel attempted the move during his performance of “Adorn” that night. As a result a fan by the name of Khyati Shah was leg dropped and is now undergoing neurological tests to see if she received brain damage from the incident.

(AllHipHop News) When four of the biggest names in music get together that moment has to be captured in a picture. Luckily, photographer Lenny S pulled out his camera and got a shot of superstars Jay-Z, Nas, Justin Timberlake, and Timbaland together in the studio recently.
Lenny uploaded the photo on his @kodaklens Instagram page with the caption, “JAY x JT x NAS x TIMBO Rat Pack s###. For some this is “Work”… For us it’s just Fun. #RocNation.”
Lenny, aka “The Kodak Man,” is a veteran photographer. He also took the recent studio pic of Jay-Z with Drake and one of Jay and Raekwon.
There’s no word on exactly what Hov, Esco, JT, and Timbo were working on, but if there’s a song featuring that foursome coming in the future it’s sure to be a monster.

Jeez! What is this world coming to? Back in the day, they referred to Bill Clinton as the “First Black President” and I’m starting to believe he is. They are persecuting my dude left and right these days. Now, some son of a prostate, I mean prostitute, is claiming that the former president is his daddy.
Bill just got 500k for a deal to speak for 45 minutes. This dude better be careful! Bill may take some of that money and give it to some secret service assassin. Anyway, the latest is that Bill is being pressured to take the damn DNA test. I have to believe this is some sort of lie. Unless these people have some more concrete evidence, they aren’t going to get Bill’s DNA for the biggest Maury paternity test ever.
They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry! -illseed.
