Hip-Hop Rumors: Beyonce Buys Jay-Z The Most Expensive Hublot Watch In The World!

Yesterday, Jay-Z celebrated his 43rd birthday, and rumor has it that Beyonce bought her husband the most expensive Hublot watch known to man – the “Big Bang”. The diamond-encrusted watch costs a reported $5 Million and has 1,282 diamonds in total!! Check out a few photos of the watch below:

Oh, and the watch has a video showcasing why it’s worth $5 million.

According to a Media Take Out snitch, Jay-Z was “very excited” when Bey gave him the watch as he is an avid watch collector. I’m sure anyone would be excited to receive a $5 million watch, but when it comes to Jay and Bey you just never know. You see these two have a history of giving each other super expensive, over the top gifts. I guess you can do that when you are the richest couple in entertainment. I came across a list on Hollyscoop.com that lists a timeline of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s gifts to each other. The list is crazy! Check it out below in its entirety:

Jay-Z and Beyonce

January 2012: Most people buy a house for $500,000. Beyoncé used that pocket money to score some jewelry for her beau.

The singer bought Jay-Z a $500K sapphire ring as a special thanks for all his love and support and in honor of their daughter, Blue Ivy.

Of course, he was happy to show it off, stepping out at the grand opening of The 40/40 Club in New York, rocking the rock on his pinky… That’s right. Jay-Z wears your house on his pinky!

January 2012: You know your destiny is baller status when one of your “welcome home” presents is a solid gold rocking horse.

Also happening in January of this year in honor of Blue Ivy’s was the arrival of a $600K handmade Japanese gold rocking horse to the Roc Nation estate. The horse was designed by jeweler Ginza Tanaka. And, don’t worry, Blue… When you get sick of playing with it, you can just donate it to Goodwill.

The horse was in addition to a pile of other elaborate gifts, totaling up to a jaw-dropping $1.5 million. Now that’s how you spoil a child!

December 2010: When Jay-Z turned 41, he didn’t get backaches or hair in his ears (to our knowledge). Instead, he got a $2 million car.

Beyoncé surprised Jay-Z with a brand new white Bugatti Veyron Sport. Unfortunately, they have little use for the German two-seater convertible anymore, due to the fact that there’s no room for Blue Ivy’s car seat.

December 2010: It was a Merry Christmas indeed for Beyoncé. The singer found $350,000 worth of Hermes Birkin bags under the tree.

Reportedly, Jay-Z got his last minute shopping done on Christmas Eve, stopping in at a Madison Avenue boutique in NYC. Doing so, the rapper proved that if the present is big enough, it doesn’t matter if there was any thought behind it at all.

September 2010: “Hey, what do you want for your birthday?” “Oh, I don’t know… Maybe some socks?”

For Beyoncé’s 29th birthday, Jay-Z redefined what it meant to be a big gift giver. The rapper skipped Macy’s, passed by the jewelry store, turned down the Italian restaurant for reservations… Instead, he stopped on by the real estate office and purchased his lady a private Florida island for $20 million.

February 2009: Jay Z possibly went a little over-the-top for Valentine’s gift. Instead of flowers, he reportedly bought Beyoncé a platinum covered mobile phone. The cost… $24,000. I wonder if any minutes came with that?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Superhead Using Bow Wow To Get Lil’ Wayne Jealous?

Karrine “Superhead” Steffans has made no attempt to hide her groupie ways, even now. The former video vixen skyrocketed to fame when she wrote her first book, Confessions of A Video Vixen, back in 2007. The book exposed her “slorish” ways with some of the most popular men in entertainment, including Jay-Z, Ja Rule, Vin Diesel, and many others. The book even landed her on Oprah Winfrey’s couch.

One of Karrine’s most coveted conquests has been Lil’ Wayne. In fact, even though she is married, she says that she is still in love with him. Well, it looks like she’s trying to get Weezy’s attention anyway she knows how.

Bow Wow
Bow Wow

Yesterday, Karrine released a video of her in Bow Wow’s bathroom. Although the video looks as if it may have been taken after some hanky panky, Bow Wow says “it’s not what it looks like,” and explains in the video that Karrine was in the neighborhood and came over to watch the game. As you guys know, Bow Wow is now signed to Lil’ Wayne, so I have to ask. Is Karrine trying to make Lil’ Wayne jealous by hanging out with his artist? Who knows? Check out the video below to see Bow Wow practically begging Karrine to keep the video private. So much for that!

ASAP Rocky showed up last night and got it all the way TURNT UP! Busta Rhymes also showed up as well. (Did I use the slang right there? You know, I don’t know.) This season’s cast of rappers include Joe Budden and Consequence, in addition to the return of Erica Mena, Olivia, and her manager, Rich Dollaz.

The relationship between Erica Mena and Rich Dollaz is relatively new, and should cause tension between Olivia and Erica Mena, who did not get along in season one “Love & Hip Hop.”

In addition to the aforementioned artists, Jim Jones’ former manager Yandy Smith, her boyfriend Mendeecees Harris,  Tahiry Jose, Raqi Thunda, Jen “The Pen” Bayer, Winter Ramos and Rashidah Ali are featured on season three of “Love & Hip Hop.”

Season 3 of “Love & Hip Hop” is slated to premiere on Monday, January 7 at 8:00 PM.

Ne-Yo Pleads “Let Me Love You” on NBC’s “The Voice”

While still celebrating his Billboard-certified Top 10 album release, R.E.D., singer Ne-Yo stopped by NBC’s “The Voice” to perform his platinum single “Let Me Love You”.

“The Voice” finalist, Amanda Brown, joined Ne-Yo on stage to sing part of the song. Brown was eliminated from the competition on Tuesday (December 4).

Team Adam and Team Christina are gone, leaving Blake Shelton and Cee-Lo Green with three finalists to face off in the final four next week. The season finale airs December 17-18.

Rolling Stone Magazine Declares “The Message” As Greatest Hip-Hop Song of All Time

(AllHipHop News) For the first time in its existence, music magazine giant Rolling Stone recently compiled a list of the Top 50 songs that have influenced Hip-Hop history.

Their selection (based on the opinions of a Rolling Stone staff panel and Hip-Hop “experts” such as Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson of The Roots) for the top song ever in the less than 40-year-old Rap genre was Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s “The Message”.

According to Rolling Stone, the 1982 hit single by the South Bronx collective was able “to tell, with hip hop’s rhythmic and vocal force, the truth about modern inner-city life in America.”

With its stern “Don’t push me/’cause I’m close to the edge…” warning, “The Message” depicted impoverished life in American ghettos in a way that had not been heard before among the fledgling Hip-Hop tracks of the time.

Also included on the list were songs like Public Enemy’s militant “Fight The Power” and the Hip-Hop standard “Rapper’s Delight” by Sugarhill Gang, another pioneering Rap group that formed in the late ’70s.

“It’s a list that would have been a lot harder to do ten or 15 years ago because hip hop is so young,” Nathan Brackett, deputy managing editor of Rolling Stone, told Reuters.

“We’ve reached the point now where hip hop acts are getting into the (Rock and Roll) Hall Of Fame… it just felt like the right time to give this the real Rolling Stone treatment.”

The full Top 50 list, featuring four special edition covers, will be released on December 7 on RollingStone.com and the newsstand version of Rolling Stone.

ILLSEED QUICKIES: Katt Retires, Elmo’s Ex Gets Further Under The Bus

Katt Williams has announced his retirement. Just when Suge Knight was about to get back in the game.

RELATED: Hip-Hop Rumors: Suge Knight Manages Katt Williams? What Tha?

DAMN HOMEY!

The voice of Elmo, Kevin Clash, got a word of encouragement from his former gay lover yesterday. Jason Murray (he dated the voice of Elmo when he was about 22) said:

“Kevin is not a villain. Yes, he had an affinity for younger men, but what successful [straight] man doesn’t have an affinity for younger women? It’s the same thing, gay or not.”

Some how…this does NOT help Clash’s plight as he is accused of underage relationships with boys.

DRAKE MOVES ON! SIGNS NEW DEAL!

I knew there was a reason I had not heard a lot from Drizzy Drake. He has been baking that CAKE. Drake locked in with Warner Bros, as Lil Wayne “retires” and Nicki “falters.” OVO (October’s Very Own) Records is down with the brothers. Feels like a “get yo’ hand out my pocket” move. The move has yet to be confirmed so it is still on the rumor mill, per Hits Daily Double. But this is a good move if you ask me. Honestly, I think Drake and Nicki need to do more of this, because Wayne is about to be a ghost. I see ya Drake…loosen up that collar!

Illseed, Out.
