Diggy Simmons and J. Cole Squash Beef

(AllHipHop News) Last night at KMEL’s Summer Jam in San Francisco, California, Diggy Simmons and J.Cole put their differences aside in the hallway of the venue and squashed their beef.

Diggy and J.Cole have been at odds for several months now, ever since J.Cole rapped about being intimately involved with Diggy’s sister, Vanessa Simmons.

The beef stemmed from the J.Cole track “Purple Rain,” where J.Cole raps: “Good girl huh, father was a preacher/ sent her off to college thought I got her on a leash though / from the outside though, them girls be the squeakiest / you get ‘em inside them girls be the freakiest.

Things escalated when Diggy responded with the track “What You Say To Me,” taking on J.Cole and defending his family.

Both artists’ publicists, body guards and crew blocked all cameras from taking pictures, but multiple witnesses saw them say they were sorry, embrace and walk back to their neighboring dressing rooms.

No word on if the two will be working together, but the beef has been squashed by both artists at this point.

More details as news emerges.

Signs The World Is Coming To An End: Man Sets His Girlfriend On Fire At 7-Eleven

A crazy South Florida man is making headlines for dousing his ex-girlfriend with gasoline and setting her on fire, and then trying to stab her with a knife. According to police, 59-year-old Roosevelt Mondesir is accused of throwing gasoline on his 34-year-old girlfriend and setting her on fire in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven. The woman had just been denied a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend just two weeks before.

The two have a four-year-old child together and had agreed to meet at 3AM today at a 7-Eleven so that she could pick up her son. A 3AM meeting? Anyway, Mondesir showed up without their son, and instead brought a bucket of gasoline.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the woman told police that she spotted the gasoline bucket and began to run away, when Mondesir threw it on her and lit her from behind. She was already on fire when she ran into the 7-Eleven and held the door closed from the inside. The store clerk called the police, and the man was arrested after he was found hiding in the bushes.

The woman suffered burns to her face and body, but is expected to recover. Mondesir is being charged with attempted murder charges. The store security camera caught the tail end of the altercation. Check out the video below:

Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Rick Ross Steal Waka Flocka Flame's Style? Waka Thinks So!

Bricksquad’s Waka Flocka Flame has taken a few shots at Rick Ross in a cover-story for Complex. In the article, Waka accuses Ricky Rozay of stealing his style and making a career out of it. Check out what he said below:

“This n*gga out here making 30 f*cking songs with your sound. He watering it down, just putting words together that sounded good. Sh*t would be harder if it was the truth.

“That sh*t made me tight. “N*ggas built labels off our sound—like, literally. You know how many n*ggas sound like Lex Luger and Southside? I go in n*ggas’ studios, all their beats sound like my producers. I be like, What the f*ck?” But above all he tries to maintain perspective: “You can’t be mad at something you can’t control.”

Waka also takes credit for creating the term “H.A.M.” and implies that the Watch The Throne single “H.A.M.”, which was produced by Lex Luger, was very similar to his signature sound. Check out what he said below:

“What are y’all gonna say now? Jay-Z stupid as h*ll? My sound is wack? You gonna say that? They love the sound. They can’t run away from it. That sh*t re-sparked n*ggas’ careers.

“My sound put life into a lot of people’s careers. I feel like my sound changed hip-hop. Period. It’s crazy when I came out with it everybody laughed at it, but the next year everybody’s doing it. They getting credit for the sh*t you started. You be like, Damn, how is this n*gga a genius for doing something I started?”

I guess “BMF” does sound a little like it could be a Waka song, but it was produced by Lex Luger. If anything that’s Lex Luger’s sound, and he is free to give it to whomever he wants. Right?
