Wiz Khalifa Announces Second Album “O.N.I.F.C”

Wiz Khalifa is hard at work on the follow up to his

debut, Rolling Papers, which has produced two platinum singles.

Wiz’ new release will be titled O.N.I.F.C, the rapper told fans during a uStream session.

Wiz will also drop a mixtape titled “Taylor Allderdice,” which refers to Wiz’ hometown high school in Pittsburgh, prior to the release of his second major
album.

In related news, Wiz surprised his girlfriend Amber Rose with a birthday party during their vacation in Hawaii for her birthday in October.

Reps for the rapper released the birthday footage yesterday (November 11).

Erick Sermon Has Heart Attack

(AllHipHop News) Erick Sermon of the legendary group EPMD has suffered a heart attack.

DJ Scratch, the long time DJ for the group, confirmed the news.

“Erick Sermon had a heart attack today. He’s ok, but still send your prayers. He is not on Twitter.”

The rapper is in a Long Island hospital recuperating, sources told AllHipHop.com.

While the circumstances of the heart attack are attributed to high blood pressure, according to sources close to the matter.

Kim Wingate, a close friend of Sermon and owner of justshuddup.com, said that she talked to the rapper. He nearly died.

“On the heals of suffering the loss of Heavy D, we almost lost another HipHop Legend last night. Erick Sermon is in the hospital after suffering a heart attack last night.  I just got off the phone with E and he said the doctor told him his blood pressure was so high he was minutes from death. He wanted me to let everyone know he’s okay.”

Wingate also told AllHipHop that Sermon will be in the hospital for a few days to undergo testing.

Amber Rose’s Triple Threat: Music, Acting, and Fashion

Amber Rose insists she isn’t just a pretty face or Wiz Khalifa’s girlfriend, and she’s ready to show the world her true talents. Rose, who is one of the current judges on Smirnoff’s “Master of the Mix” show which airs on BET, has been working on music for years and shared with AllHipHop.com that she’s in the studio every night creating what she describes as “fun, house, and club.”

The support she received from family, friends, and boyfriend Wiz helped her dedicate a ton of time to the studio and recording. She revealed that a huge name in the industry had reached out to her recently to collaborate, and that she is inspired by the music created by artists like Fergie, Missy Elliott, and Pitbull.

Aside from her blossoming singing career, Rose spoke on the fair share of acting she has done, along with her work within fashion the world. She can be seen in the upcoming movie, Gang of Roses 2, as well several other films set for release in 2012. She has also recently worked with Members Only to create a line of stylish furs, leather and wool coats, and other clothes.

Music Exec Steve Stoute & CNN’s Soledad O’Brien Spotlight Black Entrepreneurs

Prior to the TV premiere of CNN’s “Black in America 4,” host Soledad O’Brien convened an invitation-only screening and panel discussion in New York City on Black entrepreneurism in America. The panel included well-known record executive, author, and businessman Steve Stoute, who offered his thoughts on the topic along with the documentary, set to air tomorrow, November 13.

In the clip below, Stoute, who has led Urban Music divisions for both Sony and Interscope Geffen, helping spawn the careers of Eminem, Mariah Carey, Will Smith and others, offered his own sound advice for Black entrepreneurs with business start-up dreams of their own:

CNN’s O’Brien hosts the fourth installment of the well-received and debated “Black in America” series, which takes a different twist from the others in that it chronicles a competition among the African-Americans it profiles. O’Brien follows the journey of eight entrepreneurs striving for success in the predominantly white world of Silicon Valley after leaving everything behind. The series captures them as they pitch their ideas to investors, all hoping for “the next big thing.”

Love & Hip Hop Private Screening Pictures

The cast of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop gathered last night in New York for a private screening of season 2 of the hit series.

Monami Entertainment and Bartenura Wines hosted a the private screening at Pranna Restaurant’s Gold Room, where the first episode of season 2 was shown.

“This season will bring you closer into the lives of the cast in a way that will keep you glued to the TV. Trust me!” Monami CEO Mona Scott-Young said.
