(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent’s Cheetah Vision film company and production shingle Emmett/Furla have announced a new 10-film deal with Grindstone/Lionsgate.
50 founded Cheetah Vision in 2009 with Randall Emmett.
In the first round, 50 landed a $200 million, 10-picture deal with Grindstone and Lionsgate.
The first collaboration between Grindstone, Emmett/Furla and Cheetah Vision produced a variety of successful feature films.
The original deal produced movies like “Setup” starring Bruce Willis, Ryan Phillippe and 50 Cent, “Freelancers,”starring Robert DeNiro and Forest Whitaker, “The Frozen Ground” starring Nicholas Cage and John Cusack and others.
“We have partnered with the Lionsgate family on films for more than 10 years, and we’re thrilled to see our partnership continue to grow with their success,” said Emmett/Furla’s Randall Emmett and George Furla.
The next film under the partnership between Grindstone and Emmett/Furla is titled “Empire State” starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Currently, Emmett/Furla and Cheetah Vision are working on a new action thriller titled “The Tombs” starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and 50 Cent.
That movie is slated to be released next year.
