(AllHipHop News) As if having his hand in bringing the Nets to Brooklyn wasn’t enough, Marcy projects bred rapper and music mogul, Jay-Z, is part of a group looking to renovate the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum outside New York City on Long Island.

Attending the meeting Thursday, Jay-Z and his partners briefed media on four potential plans to renovate the arena and surrounding areas.

While the Coliseum is home to the NHL’s New York Islanders, the team is expected to move from the 40-year-old coliseum to Brooklyn by 2015

Nassau County officials have been working to execute a proposal for several years, but nothing has come to fruition to date.

Although Jigga took photos with the Nassau County officials, he did not speak to the media during the lengthy presentation

Jay-Z’s Roc Nation is part of the same group played a crucial role in building the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
