According to independent rapper 50 Cent, the company has not done right by his “Get Low” collaborator Jeremih. The G-Unit leader blasted Def Jam on Instagram for what he sees as overpricing the R&B singer’s Late Nights: The Album.

What Def Jam has done to Jeremih is so foul. They have dropped the ball in so many ways. They have his album out at $18.99. I have never seen an album priced that high in 5 years. SMH STUPID MOTHERFU-KERS.
However, iTunes currently has Jeremih’s latest project listed at $9.99 for the explicit version and $11.99 for the clean version. Those prices are in the range of other Def Jam releases on sale in the digital store. For example, Rick Ross’ Black Market is listed at $11.99 and Babyface’s Return of the Tender Lover is listed at $9.99.
