(AllHipHop News) TDE emcee Ab-Soul has been very open about his 17 year battle with Stevens–Johnson Syndrome. He even addressed the illness on the song “The Book of Soul” off 2012’s Control System. Unfortunately, Ab’s condition is apparently worsening. The Carson, California native spoke about his options to combat the disease during a Q&A with GoodFellaMedia.

“I was talking to Puffy or ‘Dr. Sean Combs’, and he really suggests that I go ahead and try to get a cornea transplant. I’m just a little eerie about that because what if they mess up,” said Ab. “I just look at it on a brighter side. You can’t have it all.”
Later in the interview Ab-Soul reveals that there is a CDQ version of the track “Druggys With Hoes Part 3” with Schoolboy Q. The duo debuted the song at a performance in April. Soul was asked if the official song will ever be released.
“I hope so. It’s gotta come from the boss though – Top Dawg,” explained Ab. “It was supposed to go on the album. We just couldn’t clear the sample. That’s why it wasn’t on [Schoolboy’s] Oxymoron.”
