DMX has been tapped to open up for Eminem during the Epicenter 2010 Festival in California. In addition to Eminem and DMX, artists like Big Boi, Blink-182, Kiss, Papa Roach, Rise Against, Bush and 30 Seconds to Mars will hit the stage. The general fans won’t see DMX perform, unless they hold VIP tickets to the backstage area, where he will give the exclusive performance. The event, which takes place at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, will also feature the first Southern California show with a reunited House of Pain as well. The Epicenter 2010 Festival in California takes place this Saturday (September 11th). The executive producer of the VMA’s has shot down reports that rapper Kanye West and country singer Taylor Swift will “reunite” during the awards show this Sunday (September 12th). Kanye West and Taylor Swift are slated to both attend the awards show, which will feature a performance by Kanye West. According to the VMA’s executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic, there is no chance for a duet between the pair. “I hope that we move on from it,” Ignjatovic told Billboard. “It feels like it’s time. It was a year ago.” Other performers include Eminem, B.o.B., Swizz Beatz, Mary J. Blige, Drake, Linkin Park and Justin Bieber. More details have emerged surrounding an early morning incident at the rapper’s Las Vegas mansion on Thursday. According to Floyd’s ex-girlfriend Josie Harris, the boxer allegedly pulled her by her hair, threw her on the ground and struck her in the head. According to TMZ.com, Harris then claimed Floyd began “dragging me on the floor and twisting my arm back … in attempt to try and break it.” Josie Harris claimed that the altercation started when Mayweather became upset over Harris’ new boyfriend. At press time, police have not charged Floyd Mayweather Jr. with any crime. Josie Harris is now seeking a restraining order against Mayweather.
