Warner Music executive Kevin Liles was honored on Sunday March 2 in front of several hundred industry insiders and their families at the annual TJ Martell Foundation’s 9th Annual Family Day in New York’s Roseland Ballroom. The foundation has helped to bring awareness and raise funds for research and treatment for cancer, leukemia, and AIDS. Liles took to the stage with his son and daughter and asked for a moment of silence for the people that died from the ailments and noted that six of his close relatives passed away due to cancer. “Tomorrow is not promised, lets celebrate. Its one thing to be honored and its one thing to take respect and serve,” Liles said. Attendees included Jay-Z, Nia Long, Irv Gotti, Cheri Dennis, Trey Songz, host Nick Cannon, and DJ D-Nice and others. The event also offered a silent auction of exclusive and pricey celebrity items.
