According to reports, Nas and Damian Marley will perform dates in London, Glasgow and Manchester in the Spring of 2011. The pair will perform songs from their lengthy back catalog, as well as selections from their hit collaborative album, Distant Relatives. The dates mark Nas and Damian Marley’s first joint concert in the UK since July, when they performed three sold-out dates in the United Kingdom. Rick Ross skipped his performance of “Aston Martin Music” with Chrisette Michele, outraging the R&B singer, who blasted the rapper in her blog. Rick Ross was upset that his hit single “B.M.F.” lost to Eminem and Rihanna’s single “Love The Way You Lie” and promptly exited The Soul Train Awards. “What exactly happened was I came the day before and they gave me a mic just to do rehearsals and I had no input on the performance,” Ross explained to the BBC’s Tim Westwood. “We done worked a long time to get in this position, just not to be thrown on stage…it wasn’t nothing personal to no one. It was no beefs.”Washington, DC rapper Wale will give back to his hometown community this Thanksgiving, by hand delivering food to those in need in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia region.
