Former Roc-A-Fella rapper Amil is finishing her new sophomore album tentatively titled Amil Az Iz.According to a press release, Amil Az Iz will feature production from platinum producers Kwame, Baby Paul and Eazy Mo Bee.
Amil, who resides in North Carolina, also tapped upcoming producers from the region to round out her album, which is due in stores on D.O.E./Baby Grande Records.
Amil was once an artist on Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella imprint before a falling out,
She appeared on a number of hit singles with superstar rapper Jay-Z, including “Can I Get A..”, “Jigga What”, “Hey Papi” and others.
She released her debut album All Money Is Legal in 2000. The album featured appearances from Beyonce, Carl Thomas, Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek and others. No release date was available at press time.
