Beyoncé nearly fell from a suspended car prop during her Houston show but kept her composure and finished the performance without injury.

Beyoncé narrowly avoided a serious accident during her Cowboy Carter Tour stop in Houston when a suspended red convertible prop malfunctioned mid-performance and tilted unexpectedly above the crowd.

The incident occurred Saturday (June 28) at NRG Stadium as she performed “16 Carriages.” While singing from the airborne vehicle, the car suddenly shifted, causing her to slide down the seat and nearly fall to the ground.

She immediately signaled for help and told her crew, “Stop, stop, stop.”

Stagehands quickly responded, lowering the car to the ground as Beyoncé remained composed. Once safely off the prop, she briefly exited the stage before returning to finish the show.

She later reassured the audience with a smile, saying, “If I ever fall, I know y’all would catch me.”

The moment, captured by several audience members, quickly spread across social media. Videos show the car tilting and Beyoncé bracing herself before calling for the show to pause.

The malfunction happened during one of the most visually ambitious segments of the tour. The floating red convertible had been a recurring visual element during her Cowboy Carter performances, designed to elevate the drama of the setlist’s emotional centerpiece.
