Cardi B Recalls #MeToo Incident During A Magazine Photoshoot On ‘Untold Stories Of Hip Hop’

According to the “Press” rapstress, a man showed her his genitals without consent.

(AllHipHop News) Tonight, WE tv airs the debut episode of Angie Martinez’s Untold Stories of Hip Hop. The series presents previously unknown moments throughout the history of the culture directly from the artists’ perspective.

Martinez met with Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg and rap hitmaker Cardi B for the initial show. During her segment, Cardi told Angie about the time she was sexually harassed during a photoshoot.

“I will never forget how I went to shoot for this magazine and the photographer, he was trying to get close to me. Like, ‘Yeah, you want to get into this magazine?’ And he pulled his d*ck out. I was so f*cking mad,” recalled the native New Yorker.

She continued, “You know what’s so crazy? I told the magazine owner, and he just looked at me like, ‘So? And?’ When I see the #MeToo movement – there’s girls from the hood. I know they went through the same type of treatment.”

When asked if she has to deal with that behavior from men now that she is a bona fide entertainment superstar, the Hustlers actress replied, “Oh, hell no. I’ll put you on blast on my Instagram. I hope a n*gga would [laughs].”

Season 1 of Untold Stories of Hip Hop will also include conversations with A$AP Rocky, DJ Khaled, Queen Latifah, Ice Cube, Ice-T, MC Lyte, Wyclef Jean, Nelly, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, and more rap representatives. The series premieres Thursday, September 26 at 10 pm ET/9 pm CT.
