CiCi and the Seattle Seahawks quarterback uploaded pictures of themselves wearing the outfits from Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s “Apesh*t” music video. The photos also featured a portrait of an additional powerful duo: former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
“From the Wilsons to the Carters to the Obamas… Much Love & Respect. We goin Ape $#!% #HappyHalloween,” tweeted Wilson. The Twitter post was accompanied by a video of Ciara and Russell reenacting Hov and Bey’s “Apesh*t” visuals.

Other celebs have taken on alternate egos for All Hallows’ Eve too. Nicki Minaj (Harley Quinn), Cardi B (sexy nurse), Snoop Dogg (The Joker), Jhené Aiko (Pokémon‘s Ash Ketchum), Gabrielle Union (Clovers Cheerleader), and the Black-ish cast (Us characters) displayed their respective getups on Instagram.
Of course, fans are looking to imitate their favorite stars for the holiday. According to Billboard, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner were the most popular celebrity costume searches of 2019.
