(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper had plenty of surprises for the teenagers at his Open Mike Chicago event on Monday.
Comedic legend Dave Chappelle showed up to the showcase.
Chicago Bulls player Jimmy Butler and the cast of BET’s The New Edition Story were in attendance too.
Open Mike Chicago’s goal is to provide local teenagers with an outlet to display their talents.
This is the latest example of Chance’s efforts to help his hometown.
The Coloring Book creator raised money for the homeless, sponsored kids free field trips, participated in a non-violent youth poetry festival, and led a #ParadeToThePolls march.
