(AllHipHop News) Rihanna has not put out an album since 2016’s Anti. Drake’s last full-length effort was Scorpion in 2018. Cardi B’s only studio LP, Invasion of Privacy, also dropped last year.
Despite none of those music stars releasing a project in 2019, each one was highly discussed on Twitter between January 1 and November 15. The social media site announced its End-of-the-Year lists, including Top Musicians of 2019 worldwide.

South Korean boy band BTS topped the global tally. Pop sensation Ariana Grande came in at #2. Drake (#3), Rihanna (#4), and Cardi B (#5) rounded out the Top 5. Beyoncé landed at #7 with Kanye West right behind her at #8.
In addition, Spider-Man: Far From Home star Tom Holland was named the Top Actor. American soccer player Megan Rapinoe and Brazilian soccer player Neymar were the #1 female and male athletes. The Avengers: Endgame was the #1 movie, and Game of Thrones was the #1 TV show.
