(AllHipHop News) According to reports, DTTX of the classic Mexican American Hip-Hop group Lighter Shade of Brown is still alive and in grave condition after previous reports of his death.
DTTX, whose real name is Bobby Ramirez, was believed to be dead last night after several friends of the rapper posted R.I.P. messages to their social media.
In addition, multiple stations actually reported the MC’s death as fans mourned until he was confirmed to be alive by fellow Hispanic MCs Kid Frost and other half of Lighter Shade of Brown ODM, who actually took to the radio to confirm that DTTX was still alive.
According to RapTalk, DTTX’s health woes began July 7 as he was unresponsive and rushed to the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center Las Vegas hospital with a fever of 107 degrees, a condition which some have contributed to an alcohol-related coma.
The rapper was actually initially admitted to the hospital as “John Doe” until July 13 when he was finally identified and joined by family and friends at the Las Vegas hospital.
Lighter Shade of Brown is a Hip-Hop group from Riverside, CA and are known for helping to break down barriers for Hispanics in rap with 90s hits such as “On A Sunday Afternoon” and “Latin Active.”
