Shawn J. was arrested last week and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and
resisting arrest. Shawn
J., born Shawn Timothy Johnson, was arrested by officers from the Jacksonville
Sheriff Department on Mar. 27 and charged with carrying a concealed fire arm,
which is a felony. The
28-year-old rapper is not eligible for bond and will appear in court on Apr. 9
to respond to the charges.In
Sept. of 2004, Johnson was arrested on kidnapping charges, after police claimed
the rapper took the a six-month girl he claimed to have fathered and vanished.
Albany,
GA based Field Mob is signed to Ludacris’ Disturbing Tha Peace label. The
group is best known for their single "Sick of Being Lonely" from their
Oct. 2002 album From Tha Roota to the Toota.The
group’s last album Light Poles and Pine Trees hit stores in 2006 and contained
singles like "So What" featuring Ciara and "Georgia" featuring
Ludacris and actor/singer Jamie Foxx.
