(AllHipHop News) How often does a potential dispute over sample clearances turn into a potential collaboration between the two acts? That might be the case with Lil Nas X and Fiona Apple.
Last week, Apple publically called out LNX for supposedly using elements of her song “Every Single Night” for his “Kim Jong” track. The songstress said in an Instagram video, “Hey, where’s my money? You cute little guy. Where’s my money?”

Instead of expressing anger or indifference toward Apple, Lil Nas reacted to her IG message with an offer to work together. The “Old Town Road” hitmaker tweeted, “Me & Fiona Apple should do something together for my album.”
The Idler Wheel… LP creator found out about LNX’s offer and addressed the possible musical combination. Apple responded, “I would love that. This is such a good ending to this little story. I would love that. I’m not going on social media anymore, by the way, so I’ll get in touch with you personally.”
