Master Flex to host a new reality television series called Castrol Syntec Car

Wars, debuting Apr. 1."We’ve

had a great experience with Flex and are looking forward to continuing our relationship

with him and supporting our new show ‘Castrol Syntec Car Wars,’" Melanie

Losey, Castrol Syntec brand manager said. "Flex’s

enthusiasm and love for cars is inspiring and we’re excited to have our highest

performing motor oil brand, Castrol Syntec, alongside him.”The

reality series will showcase four car show enthusiasts in a six week race to customize

their vehicles. Castrol

Syntec Car Wars will air on ESPN2 for seven consecutive weeks, and after every

week, the four contestants will show off their car customization skills and unique

rides to win the Castrol Syntec “Best in Show” award and a grand prize

of $10,000.The

Castrol Syntec Car Wars finale will be filed in Atlantic City, N.J. at

Flex’s Celebrity Car and Bike Show. All seven episodes will also be available

online at www.castrol.com/carwars.“I’m

fans involved,” Funkmaster Flex said. “Also, I’m excited to work

with Castrol Syntec and we plan to incorporate that same excitement and energy

DJ/Car enthusiast, first worked with Castrol Syntec in 2005 in an effort to advertise

the brand to Flex’s fans. Castrol

Syntec became the exclusive motor oil for all properties operated by Funk Flex’s

business entity, also called Team Baurtwell.
