(AllHipHop News) Just seven days after releasing his self-titled LP, Future hits his fans with another project.
The Atlanta rap star’s new 17-track HNDRXX album features The Weeknd and Rihanna.
There has been speculation that Future dropped the two bodies of work on consecutive weeks as a way to fill a legal obligation to Rocko.
According to reports, Rocko won a lawsuit that requires Future to pay the A1 Recordings head royalties on two albums.
During an #AskFuture Q&A on Twitter, the “Selfish” rhymer denied his back-to-back album drops were connected to Rocko.
“No way in the f-ck am I doing that for him, but at the same time, sh-t gonna get taken care of,” answered Future.
He added, “When n-ggas go broke, they do dumb sh-t. I don’t know what’s going on. But at the end of the day, we’re making hits, we’re making history. When they want to be part of history, you gotta do something to tag along.”
