“We are seeking to ensure that local workers, vendors, suppliers, and merchants benefit from the rehabilitation construction building project that will provide jobs, job training, and contribute a $350 million socio-economic impact to the New York City, Tri-State region,” stated JT Thompson, Founder and Chairman of the HHHOF.

Over forty permanent and rotating exhibits have already been planned for the museum and educational institution. Its mission is to preserve, archive, exhibit, educate, and showcase Hip-Hop music and culture from around the world.

“This is what sets the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum a part from other groups and individuals, as our focus is not just on preserving and archiving Hip Hop History, but contributing to the positive growth and empowerment of our youth through education, mentoring, and job training,” added Thompson. “The Museum plans to also expand professional opportunities for artists, executives, service providers, and businesses to grow volume worldwide.”

In addition, green technology will be incorporated into the museum’s operations by utilizing recyclable materials, paper products, and building materials that will be included in the final design and operational plans. The Hip Hop Hall of Fame will also seek out local agencies that assist, provide services, and encourage companies and organizations to utilize green technology.

The Hip Hop Hall of Fame is currently looking to partner with creative designers, production managers, contractors, and builders. Interested parties should have an understanding of building major projects in the city and state of New York.

All RFQ proposals must be submitted for review to The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum by July 29,2016 at 5 pm EST. For more information contact the HHHOF team at hiphophofstaff@gmail.com or visit hiphophalloffame.org.
