(AllHipHop News) Rapper J Cole impressed his South African fans during a sold out performance last night (June 18).
J Cole took part in the Castle Lite Unlock concert, at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg.
Over 14,000 people came out to see J Cole, along with local Hip-Hop stars Nasty C, Kwesta and Emtee.
Reps for Castle Lite, which is a South African beer brand, were thrilled with the artists’ energy and the big turnout.
One rep commented that the mass amount of people who showed up for the concert proves there’s even greater possibilities for J Cole in South Africa.
“I think the demand was really overwhelming for the fact that we had to re-release tickets and open up an entire new floor,” Castle Lite Brand Manager Ramona Kayembe told South Africa’s Eye Witness News. “That meant there was a real demand for the experience and for this particular artist.”
