(AllHipHop News) Winning the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for Music has apparently introduced Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN to a brand new audience. The album’s sales jumped 236% (11,000 copies) in the week since the history-making achievement.

Lamar became the first non-classical/non-jazz musician to win a Pulitzer. DAMN also won five Grammy Awards, and it’s up for Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Selling Album, and Top Rap Album at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.

Additionally, K. Dot’s fourth studio LP has sold over 1 million copies and earned more than 3 million equivalent album units. DAMN has not fallen out of the Top 20 on the Billboard 200 chart since its release on April 14, 2017.
