(AllHipHop News) Kevin Durant is certainly making sure to show love for his new West coast home with his latest tattoo.
The new addition to Golden State’s stacked roster recently received a tattoo of Hip-Hop legend Tupac on his left leg, right above his tattoo of the trademark Wu-Tang Clan symbol.
Warriors columnist Marcus Thompson says the NBA star is “supremely impressed with Pac’s mind at such a young age,” which inspired him to get the tattoo as a tribute.
However, despite how deep the inspiration behind the tattoo may be, when the internet got a hold of the images criticism of the quality of the artwork soon ensued.
Durant definitely has no regional bias with his Hip-Hop preferences, as he is also a big fan of Biggie and he was also recently featured in an interview with Genius discussing how he had to put a lot of his younger teammates onto Jay-Z’s music.
The mega athlete is currently preparing to represent the U.S. men’s basketball team in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Check out the visuals of the tat and some of the harsh criticism Durant received for the design below.
