The truce between rapper Eminem and his ex-wife Kim Mathers has dissolved.
Just one day after the couple agreed not to criticize each other in public for the sake of their 11-year-old daughter Hailie, Kim Mathers spoke negatively about Eminem during an interview Tuesday (Mar. 27) morning on New York’s Hot 97 radio station, during Miss Jones’ morning show.
“How many songs has he done about me?” Mathers asked Miss Jones. “How many interviews has he done where he’s talking about freedom of speech? … I do a couple of interviews and he’s crying like a little girl.”
The interview is a reversal of the decision Eminem and Mathers made on Monday (Mar. 26) following a court hearing.
The couple declared that insulting each other and making slanderous comments in the media could prove harmful by having an adverse effect on Hailie.
Their relationship has been the subject of many of Eminem’s songs, including songs like “Just The Two of Us,” “Kim,” and “Mockingbird.”
Despite the agreement, Mathers expressed her views about Eminem’s recent legal action to stop her from speaking about their relationship and accused the 34-year-old lyricist of being “disconnected from reality” during the interview.
She also revealed that she has no contact with Eminem, despite living a mile away.
As for any chance of reconciliation between the twice-divorced couple, Mathers summed it up by saying, “We don’t work good together. It’s not good for the kids.”
Representatives for Eminem refused to comment on the matter.
