Lil Nas X Covers Juice WRLD’s ‘Lucid Dreams’ At Jingle Ball

(AllHipHop News) The death of Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins rocked the Hip Hop community on December 8. Many musicians mourned the 21-year-old Chicago native with posts on social media.

Lil Nas X honored the late rapper/singer by covering his biggest hit at the Jingle Ball concert in San Francisco. LNX’s performance of “Lucid Dreams” included the image of Juice WRLD projected on a screen in the venue.

“Lucid Dreams” peaked at #2 on the Hot 100 chart. The single has been certified 6x-Platinum by the RIAA. Following Juice WRLD’s passing, “Lucid Dreams” returned to the Top 5 on the iTunes chart and reached #1 on the Apple Music chart.

Higgins reportedly suffered a seizure at Midway International Airport in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday. The cause of the seizure and his death has yet to be determined. An autopsy is scheduled to take place today (December 9).
