(AllHipHop News) Migos and Future join Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z as Hip Hop artists to earn a platinum album plaque in 2017.
The Recording Industry Association of America certified that Migos’ Culture and Future’s self-titled LP crossed the 1 million units mark.
Culture is Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff’s first platinum album.
Future was previously recognized by the RIAA for the million-unit projects DS2 and What A Time To Be Alive (with Drake).
Both Atlanta-based acts saw their respective albums bolstered by smash singles – Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” and Future’s “Mask Off.”
Fans can catch Future and Migos live at San Antonio’s Mala Luna Music Festival in October.
