While fans of Nas were disappointed to find out that he had to cancel his tour of New Zealand and Australia, the rapper is in the process of booking new dates for 2008, AllHipHop.com has learned.
The rapper was slated to play in Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand, as well as gigs throughout Australia in November, but reportedly canceled the shows due to promotional obligations in the United States surrounding the release of his recent Greatest Hits album.
Sources told AllHipHop.com that the rapper is lining up a six-date tour that would start around April 23 and coincide with the Australia MTV Music Awards, which take place in late April.
Nas plans to make stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and other areas, although dates have not been officially confirmed.
Tickets to the canceled November/December shows will reportedly be honored as well.
