Born
at Project Blowed, raised with Mr. T and He-man…. The main member
of the Shapes,
Circus, produced this double CD which can be thought of the underground
anthology
of the Shapes. Circus rolled through LA with his trusty 8-track
and recorded
some of the most prolific lyrical sessions from the entire Shapesifters
groups
with special guests The Chainsmokers, Dark Leaf, Champion Sound,
Mass Men, Work
Force,the CBS crew and the late DJRob One (r.i.p).
After N2O signed the
Shapeshifters "Planet of …" project… all the rest
of
LA’s so-called underground labels followed such as Celestial Recordings.
Not
to be confused with the over produced sound of those projects,
this "Planet of
the Shapes" double CD is the stripped down sound of the underground.
No MC should
pass this one up! This is the next s### for the lyrical skillz
from beyond. These
guys were the handed the mic from the Freestyle Fellowship to
take over.
With their smash hits
