(AllHipHop News) News is breaking out of Atlanta that Southern rapper Carlos “Shawty Lo” Walker has passed away at the age of 40. According to reports, Shawty Lo was killed in a hit-and-run.
Shawty Lo biggest hit record was 2007’s “Dey Know.” He won Rookie Of The Year at the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards.

UPDATE:
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Fulton County police confirmed Walker died as the result of a single car crash on the I-285 southbound ramp to Cascade Road around 2:20 am.
Two women were also in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
They were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Shawty Lo was ejected from the Audi after the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
