(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa has been facing a lot of heat in the press over allegations he molested several young men in the 1980’s. Shot 97 host Troi “Star” Torain is one of the most outspoken people to address the controversy, and the longtime radio personality has now turned his attention toward rap legend KRS-One.

During a recent episode of his online show, Star spoke about KRS’s sit down with N.O.R.E. for the Drink Champs podcast where the Boogie Down Productions member talked about the accusations leveled against Bambaataa.
Star stated:
On a sad note, Lawrence Parker, aka KRS-One, recently said on a podcast with Noriega that he doesn’t give a f-ck about these allegations with regard to Afrika Bambaataa. Now I don’t know about you, but that’s disturbing to me. Why would the Teacha – or the so-called Teacha – make such statements with regards to the babies of Hip Hop? Is it because they’re grown black men and their voices are not equivalent to Caucasian voices that speak up about child molestation?
After pointing out that KRS was one of the leaders of the Stop The Violence movement in the late 1980’s, Star questioned why The Bronx native is not as supportive of the alleged victims of sexual abuse.
Star continued:
The worse violence is the violence committed upon a minor. So why would he now say in 2016, “I don’t give a f-ck about those allegations”? Why would KRS-One, aka the Teacha, make such a hard-line statement? Was he himself the victim of molestation? For those that don’t know, KRS-One was homeless at one point in his life. Did he have to sacrifice his body for a warm bed and a hot bowl of soup? I’m just asking the question. I’m making no accusations.
Bambaataa has denied he abused any children. While speaking with The Ed Lover Show, the head of the Universal Zulu Nation suggested there may be a “hidden agenda” behind the allegations.
