Lox member Styles P. is scheduled to be released
from the Valhalla Correctional Facility in upstate New York on Monday, after
serving 8 months for stabbing a man in the buttocks.
Styles, who is co-CEO of the Universal distributed
D-Block Records with Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, will hit the studio to record
material for a new Lox album.
D-Block is currently preparing to release Sheek’s
solo album, Walk With Me September 9th, which will feature Jadakiss,
Styles P., Trick Daddy, Lil Mo and D-Block member J-Hood.
Shortly before Styles was incarcerated, he explained
that he stabbed the man because the man had done something to aggravate the
rapper.
"Somebody got me aggravated [and] I did
somethin’," Styles told AllHipHop.com. "Now I gotta pay the consequences
and repercussions. I wish it wouldn’t have happened. I hope the shorties
out there know you gotta pay your consequences and repercussions when sh*t happens."
