(AllHipHop News) Rap star Tekashi 69 could be a free man as early as next year.

According to reports, the rap star will receive his sentence, after he cooperated with the government in a RICO case against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

The rapper pleaded guilty to multiple counts in the RICO conspiracy case, and he decided to cooperate in hopes of receiving a reduced sentence.

The rapper’s testimony helped secure the conviction of Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison earlier this week.

Tekashi 69 testified against both men for several days during the trial, which lasted almost two weeks.

Ultimately, Mack was convicted of drug-dealing and Ellison was convicted of kidnapping Tekashi 69.

Tekashi 69, born Daniel Hernandez, will be sentenced on January 24th.
