Troy Ave Faces Five Indictments For May Irving Plaza Shooting At T.I. Concert

TROY AVE INDICTED BUT AT LEAST ITS NOT MURDER

(AllHipHopNews) Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave is accused of attempted second degree murder and four counts criminal possession of a weapon, for his involvement a May shooting.

The shooting at T.I.’s concert at Irving Plaza in New York left one person dead and three others injured including Troy Ave himself.

According to TMZ, legal documents reveal that a grand jury has indicted the rapper.

The lack of a murder charge involved in the indictments by the grand jury may be a glimmer of hope for Troy.

At one point, he was suspected to have been the cause of the death of his friend/bodyguard Ronald “Banga” Mcphatter.

Troy Ave has not been charged with murder because ballistics tests indicated that the gun that Troy Ave was caught on camera firing was not the weapon that fired the bullet which led to his friend’s death.

“Nothing in this indictment is a surprise or new,” stated Troy Ave’s attorney Scott Leemon when questioned about the incident.

“It’s the same wrong story that NYPD has been trying to portray. The video does not show everything nor explain what happened in the VIP room before Troy came running out, as a victim, after he was shot.”

Scott Leemon on went on to say that he is planning to push for bail at the indictment hearing on Wednesday.
