Young Jeezy’s CTE label scored its first success under a new co-venture with Def Jam, as Young Jeezy Presents USDA: Cold Summer has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top R&B Hip-hop Albums Chart and the Billboard Top Rap Albums Chart this week.
The album moved over 95,000 copies its first week in stores and in addition to grabbing the top slots on Billboard’s Hip-Hop charts, the album landed at #4 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.
“We’re thrilled with the success of our first release, Cold Summer,” said CTE president and CEO Demetrius “Kinky B” Ellerbee. “It’s a great start to our partnership with IDJ, and a sign of more hot music and successful releases to come.”
