Lil Kim Talks Upcoming Song With Iggy Azalea, Motherhood + MORE (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) If someone told you 15 years ago that Lil Kim would be a mother who does not give a f*ck you would probably have said “Duh!” In a recent interview, the new mother speaks on her recently released mixtape Hardcore 2k14, an upcoming song with Iggy Azaela and T.I and more.

In her interview with Revolt TV, Lil Kim recollected on her career and stated that one of her favorite accomplishments are the number of up and coming artists who list her as an inspiration musically. Keeping on the topic of up and coming female artists, Kim praised Iggy Azaela for her realness and revealed an upcoming collaboration between the two:

[Iggy] and I working together. Her, I and T.I. are actually doing a track together. I don’t know if it’s going to be for my album or if we’re just going to…we have other plans for it as well. But, I think we’re going to do a double release.

Lil Kim released Hardcore 2k14 yesterday (September 11th) but was scheduled to originally be released on November 29th, 2013 under the title Hardcore 2k13. Kim admits that motherhood has made her “not give a f*ck” as now everything she does is solely for her three month old daughter Royal Reign. Her daughter was affecting her music before she was even born:

When this project was supposed to come out I had got pregnant. I didn’t know. I waws just moving and working and sutff. Once I became fully pregnant, I was working in the studio but at one point I couldn’t work anymore, obviously.

Stevie J and Joseline appear to have it all on Ratchet Love and Hip-Hop ATL, a beautiful new home and plenty of goodies to fill it up with. But despite having the seemingly perfect life on television screens every week, the two may be falling on hard times.

Word is the couple just couldn’t keep up with the rent, and were warned that if they did not leave the premises quietly, they would be evicted. There were UHAULs spotted in front of the lavish mansion and MediaTakeout snagged a few photos.

Moving on out isn’t exactly moving’ on up, unless you’re upgrading to something bigger and better…

Chris Brown Gives Ray Rice Advice On "How To Control Yourself" (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) This may be the first time in five years that Chris Brown assaulting Rihanna can help someone else. During a recent interview, Chris Brown advised Ray Rice no ways to control his anger while also detailing his continued battle with handling his own anger.

Chris Brown and Rihanna’s infamous 2009 Grammy night fight resulted in probation, eventual jail time and years of headlines. While talking with MTV, Brown lends some advice to Ray Rice, whom is in a similar situation Brown was back in 2009:

To Ray [Rice], or anybody else — because I’m not better than the next man — I can just say I’ve been down that road. I deal with situations and I’ve made my mistakes too, but it’s all about how you push forward and how you control yourself

Brown was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress disorder back in February after completing 95 days of anger management therapy. According to Brown, he still communicates with his therapist twice and week:

I still talk to my therapist twice a week, and it helps me to…if I’m frustrated and I’m dealing with something, to vent and say what I’m going through so I can hear from an actual clinical person, ‘this is how you should react,’ or ‘it’s good to feel this way because feelings, emotions, and energy are supposed to come and go. It’s not supposed to stay there, you’re not supposed to keep it inside, because it’ll bottle up and you’ll become a monster.

CBS Removes Rihanna-Featured Song From Thursday Night Football

(AllHipHop News) Rihanna can twerk with the best of them, but still can not shake the domestic abuse victim label. Yesterday (September 11th), CBS decided to remove the Rihanna-featured “Run This Town” song from the opening credits Thursday Night Football.

Earlier this year, CBS paid $200 million for the rights to air eight Thursday Night Football games this season and last night’s Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers matchup was its first game. The original opening was to be Don Cheadle doing a voiceover on the Rihanna-assisted “Run This Town” due to the recent developments in the Ray Rice domestic violence controversy.

In an interview with SI.com, CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus explained how the decision ultimately came down to journalistic ethics:

We thought journalistically and from a tone standpoint, we needed to have the appropriate tone and coverage. A lot of the production elements we wanted in the show are being eliminated.

This is second incident in the past week where CBS has altered a performance from an R&B and Hip Hop artist. On Tuesday (September 9th) and Wednesday (September 10th), Nicki Minaj sent disparaging remarks towards CBS on her personal Instagram and Twitter account about the manner in which they edited her performance on Fashion Rocks Tuesday. In her Instagram message, Nicki accused CBS of being “people who care nothing about our art and creativity””:

My darlingz, I wish you could’ve seen the choreography on the 2nd verse of ANACONDA last night It was absolutely divine. CBS decided not to show it. Had they told us this before, we would have changed the choreo so that you guys could see the full performance from beginning to end. They already had you tuned in tho. Artists spend so much of their own money, time and passion to deliver their fans great performances. But ultimately, our art usually falls into the hands of people who care nothing about our art and creativity. Promise you’ll get to see this new choreo soon. Love uuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!! 11.24 ~ The Pinkprint

Hip-Hop Rumors: Nicki Minaj Denied To Speak At Her High School

Nicki Minaj wanted to go back to her old stomping grounds, LaGuardia Arts High School and show the kiddos there some love, but was shut down by administration. Nicki took to Twitter to voice her frustration and received a few words of comfort from fans.

Screen Shot 2014-09-12 at 9.48.11 AM

LaGuardia’s Parent Association says Minaj was denied the opportunity because she wanted cameras to capture the moment, according to MediaTakeout.

MediaTakeout also posted a letter from the Parent’s Association:

“It has been brought to our attention that Nicki Minaj is attempting to generate publicity for herself by posting negative information about our principal, Dr. Lisa Mars, and LaGuardia Arts High School.

The fact is that Ms. Minaj was told by the NYC Department of Education (DOE) that she would not be allowed to enter the school with a television crew. The DOE has policies in place to protect the privacy and security of all its students. I’m sure we all appreciate the strict enforcement of these policies with regard to the safety of our children.

Yes, Nicki’s offer wasn’t entirely selfless. She was planning on filming the whole thing. I don’t blame the school for saying no.

If it’s a PR war Miss Nicki wants, she’s going to lose. What if she had just played by the DOE’s guidelines? That would have been too easy.”

Is the Department of Education pouring salt on Nicki? Or do you think its really about the students?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Tahiry Issues Statement Following Attack

As many of you may know, Tahiry was attacked during NYFW by a man named Carlos Gonzalez. The reality star was hospitalized and has been released and is recovering from home.

She issued a statement via Instagram yesterday to fans:

Thank you ALL for your well wishes. I am both appreciative and grateful to have you on my team and call you #teamtahiry! I am sincerely touched by your outpouring of love.

As you may or may not know, on Monday, Sept. 8, I was attacked, assaulted and violated, while in the workplace, by a man. I was beaten because I am woman with a voice and refuse to be disrespected. It is more proof that the violence against women is real and needs to be addressed publicly. The shaming and disrespecting of women/victims of violent abuses must stop. Violence against women must stop; a women’s voice and refusal to be disrespected is not grounds for physical abuse. #iamwoman #myvoicematters.

More to the point, I am home, healing and surrounded by love.
Rest assured, I will continue all my efforts and endeavors with the same faith, determination, passion and spirit I have always possesed. Again, thank you! You are ALL heroes of mine!
Love, Tahiry”

Chris Brown Explains Why He Squashed Beef With Drake (VIDEO)

Brown spoke with MTV’s Sway about squashing his beef with Drake. The “Loyal” singer explained why it was time to move on from the drama.

“Especially after getting out of jail, going through whatever I was going through, I didn’t have any animosity towards anybody,” said Brown. “I’m just focused on me and what I was doing.”

After several reported fights and the attack on then girlfriend Rihanna, Brown is looking to change his behavior and his image.

“I’m 25. I’m not getting no younger,” he adds. “You can’t walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder, and being negative all the time. I’m tired of being looked at as the aggressor. For me, I just wanted to show my maturity.”

Chris Brown’s X is scheduled for release September 16th.

Lecrae Talks His Faith, His Music, & Ma$e Making Secular Records (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Don’t call Lecrae a Christian rapper. He is a Christian who raps. The 34-year-old Houston native is open to talk about both of those aspects of his life, and he did so in an interview with The Breakfast Club.

“My faith informs my music,” said Lecrae. “The same way there’d be no Civil Rights Movement without Martin Luther King leading the charge, but his faith informed his movement. That’s really just how I look at it.”

The creator of the recently released Anomaly album was asked about Ma$e’s conversion from secular rapper to pastor back to secular rapper. Lecrae’s opinion is that all people should be steady in their beliefs and practices.

“I’m about being consistent. And that’s for anybody. It’s not just for Mase or whoever,” he explains. “You don’t want to create confusion. Where do you stand? What side of the fence are you playing here? That’s really what I’m trying to do in a lot of ways is show people you can still hold on to your faith, your core values, and beliefs and make music that is not necessarily explicitly ‘let’s walk through Jonah’ without being contrary to what you believe.”

Lecrae’s latest LP is projected to sell 75,000 – 80,000 copies in its first week. His previous album Gravity debuted in top 3 on the Billboard album chart and won the Grammy for Best Gospel Album.

Iggy Azalea Reps Say Alleged Sex Tape Could Be Hers

(AllHipHop News) Breakout star Iggy Azalea could be joining Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and Mimi Faust on the list of released celebrity sex tapes if Vivid Entertainment gets their way. According to TMZ, the p### company was approached about possibly buying erotic footage of the “Fancy” rapper.

After first denying that any sex tape with Iggy existed, her lawyers are now claiming if there is a tape it was most likely filmed when the Australian native was underage and without her consent. The attorneys also state the possible sex tape would have only been available to a “spurned business suitor” which TMZ is calling an ex-boyfriend.

Vivid apparently reached out to Iggy’s team about releasing the tape. The company cannot legally produce the video without her approval.

Vivid founder Steven Hirsch suggests Iggy could make millions of dollars off the release of the sex tape. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Mimi stated recently that she will see revenue from her Vivid p### tape for the rest of her life. Ray J is reportedly still making thousands of dollars a month off his tape with Kim K.
