It seems like people are saying that Tiny and T.I. played everybody with the rumor that they broke up. A couple of instagram images got everybody talking, but they are supposedly all good.
T.I. says we, the people, got it all wrong.
He told TMZ that he and Tiny got into a big fight over whether or not to walk the red carpet at the Grammys. Tip didn’t wanna do it, but Tiny did. They separated, dissed each other on instagram and came back the next day happy. By that time, the fans and rumors had run wild.
TMZ didn’t have any quotes, but we believe them anyway.
If Biggie were alive, do you think Bad Boy would still dominate? Has Diddy’s bad reputation with signing artists finally caught up to him?

(AllHipHop News) Seminal Hip Hop label Def Jam is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2014. Universal Music Group, DJ co-founders Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin, and a “#DefJam30″ team of affiliated artists and innovators will participate in year-long events to commemorate reaching the milestone.
“It’s hard to believe it was 30 years ago when we first put the Def Jam logo on a hip-hop recording at an NYU dormitory,” says Simmons and Rubin in a joint statement. “Since that time we have seen this homegrown American music grow from a local underground scene to a worldwide phenomenon. Today Def Jam remains the gold standard for taste, culture, and revolutionary thought. To quote the Chuck D line: ‘Def Jam tells you who I am…’”
The first part of the anniversary celebration is the revealing of a brand new logo. Def Jam will also schedule albums, events, films and more throughout the year as well.

(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar could be infuriated with his 0 for 7 performance at this year’s Grammy Awards but you would never know it. In his first response to his Grammy snub, Lamar says Macklemore deserved to win Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance.
While talking with XXL after last night’s (January 28th) Dom Kennedy show, Lamar attributed Macklemore’s work ethic, not his race, to his success but also alluded to anticipating future success for himself:
It’s well deserved; he did what he did, man. He went out there and hustled and grinded. Everything happens for a reason; the universe comes back around, that’s how it go.
While Lamar was understanding of the Grammy’s choice in regards to Macklemore’s wins, he does believe the award show should include Hip Hop a bit better.
We part of the world. We part of the movement. So I think any awards, including the Grammys, should always push for more hip-hop because it’s music as a whole, it’s not just splitting different regions. Everything moves as far as sound and vibrations, and that’s how it goes. And we are a part of that.

(AllHipHop News) On Monday January 28, SkeeLive concluded its season on AXS TV and for the finale’ host DJ Skee brought in TDE’s own Schoolboy Q and Hip-Hop legend Ice Cube. Schoolboy Q in promotion of his upcoming Oxymoron album (due February 25) performed “Collard Greens,” “Break the Bank,” and “Man of the Year” to a packed crowd. After his live performance, Schoolboy Q sat down with DJ Skee and revealed that although he won a Grammy by appearing on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis‘ “The Heist” album, he doesn’t feel that he won an award because he was just a feature. He also told Skee “it sucked” that his label-mate Kendrick Lamar lost on all of his nominations last Sunday at the Grammy Awards.
Ice Cube also stopped by for a brief interview with DJ Skee, although he didn’t perform as hoped by many in the crowd. The legendary rapper/actor promoted his comedy movie Ride Along and plugged his upcoming May 13 release Everything’s Corrupt, the possibility of getting in the studio with Dr. Dre, and the filming the upcoming NWA biopic. Ice Cube also stated that he doesn’t care for the Grammy Awards and without mentioning Macklemore’s name, he he felt that the album which won for the Best Rap Album, shouldn’t have won.
DJ Skee informed AllHipHop.com that he’s in the process of working out the next season of SkeeLive, so as of right now there is no official word on when the show will return. (AllHipHop News) Seattle Seahawks player Richard Sherman’s post-game interview after the NFC Championship made the Compton, California native an instant media figure and the center of a public debate over his actions. While many critics had a lot to say about his trash talking, most observers at the least acknowledged his skills on the field.

Rapper Lil Wayne recently gave his opinion on Sherman’s football abilities as well. According to the Young Money boss, the cornerback’s mouth outweighs his talent. He shared that sentiment during an interview with Peter King for MMQB.
Wayne said:
It seems like it used to be Richard Sherman loves to trash talk, but now, it’s kind of a technique. Not natural. I’ve seen people go back at him, and when they tell him something back or he gets his face busted, there’s no more barking. That tells me, I’m really not like this, I’m really not aggressive. I think it’s Richard Sherman mouthing off … I know the media likes to say he’s backing it up with his play. Well, Richard Sherman comes from the same place I come from, the street, and he’s doing a lot of talking where he really can’t back it up. I think he’s a shutdown player. But a great player? No. Great? I don’t think he’s a great player. Now if he plays great against Peyton, that will be huge. If he performs tremendously, that will [change things].
Sherman led the NFL this season in interceptions with 8. Since arriving in the league in 2011, Sherman’s 20 interceptions and 61 passes defended is the most among all players. During that time, quarterbacks only have a 39.4 QB rating when throwing in his coverage, also a league best.
