This rumor stems from a couple of years ago when Tionna Smalls held auditions for what she describes as “boss chicks,” for a reality show she was pitching to various networks. At that time, she was looking at various women in media who were either at the top or climbing to the top.
The show didn’t get picked up but then a few of the women being considered ended up on doing other things on TV including Bravo’s forthcoming show, Blood, Sweat and Heels. Even Smalls went on to have her own show on MTV (Girl Get Your Mind Right).
But the whispers have picked back up and they’re alleging that Smalls doesn’t give up easily and that she’s switching things up a bit to focus on some of Brooklyn’s “it girls” and/or socialites. It’s still a similar concept but since Brooklyn is hot right now I guess it would make sense to make it borough-specific.
Nothing is etched in stone just yet but stay tuned.
A Redding, Calif. man admitted to stealing a truck on Thursday morning so that he could make his court date for an unrelated stolen vehicle case, reports KRCRTV.
It started when a 69-year-old man reported his 1989 Ford Ranger stolen. Eventually, Michael Heller, 21, the suspected thief was found driving the truck. Police said Heller admitted that he stole the truck because he needed a ride to court for an unrelated stolen vehicle case.
Heller was arrested for vehicle theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
This is odd. But, the word on the street is that Yo Gotti and LA Reid are involved in some beef, which is really rooted in business. I didn’t know this, but Yo Gotti has a label called CMG Records. And LA Reid runs Epic Records, which distributes Yo Gotti’s label. I’m assuming Yo Gotti is the main act on CMG. Well, for whatever reason HSK is reporting that there aren’t enough sales for Epic to continue to push CMG out to the people. This relationship just started earlier this year! This is what the source says: “Gotti should have stayed Indy because it’s hard for a major label like Epic Records to brand him. CMG record sales are weak and L.A. Reid is going to drop him.”
Yo Gotti was just on Arsenio. He’ll be fine.

(AllHipHop News) Grand Hustle rapperTrae Tha Truth and cartoonist Jay Sugarman have signed on with WTF Studios to produce ten episodes of their animated series Trae. The new internet program will be similar to The Adventures of Trae Tha Truth that began running on YouTube in 2008. The digital shorts featured cameos from Sway Calloway, Angela Yee, and Mystikal with individual episodes topping over 200,000 views.
“We are very excited to have Trae Tha Truth on WTF?! It’s funny, real, edgy and it reeks of ‘I don’t give a F’, and neither do we,” says WTF Studios co-founder Marlon Wayans. “I think Trae Tha Truth’s audience will follow it to WhatTheFunny and expand from there.”
WhatTheFunny.com was launched by Wayans and Funny or Die co-founder Randy Adams as a comedic site tailored toward African-American, Latino and Asian markets. Trae will be the site’s first animated series. Other content presently on the site include parodies of Beyoncé’s “Grown Woman” and “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.”
Veteran actor Omar Epps serves as an executive producer for Trae. He was the person who introduced the original Adventures of Trae Tha Truth to Wayans.
“Trae Tha Truth’s animated series has the brand of humor which is a perfect fit for Marlon Wayans’ WhatTheFunny digital network,” says Epps. “With Trae’s core demographic being die-hard fans, I’m excited for him to expand his audience through WhatTheFunny’s expansive platform.”

Mike Will is prepping to release his next mixtape #MikeWiLLBeenTriLL on December 23rd. Previously, Drake and Juicy J jumped on a remix of “Sh!t” that hit the net earlier this week.
Keeping it real, I don’t know much of anything about this Angel Haze person. But, that’s the point…I kinda do now. The rapper chick from uptown tried to leak her album on SoundCloud yesterday. And before you could say “I got mine,” her label Universal snatched it off the internet. Good for them. You can’t let these sla…, I mean artists, get away with bucking the system. I mean, they took it off so fast that there’s not even a leak coming up in google. The shut down happened so swiftly, that rumors started to swirl that this was just a publicity stunt to get us talking about the December 30 release date of Dirty Gold, her debut album. HEY! Did I just fall for the okey doke? I think I did. Anyway, I’m not mad. She’s talented and deserves to be heard just like anybody else. And, Beyonce stans…everybody ain’t trying to be Beyonce! Just because somebody leaks an album, they are not trying to be like Mrs. Carter, or Female Jesus or whatever you call B, b.
Here is what Haze said on Twitter:
“My labels didn’t think that I would do it, but I did. It’s hard to put at risk everything I’ve spent this year working on but I had to. For both me and you guys. No one should ever be afforded the opportunity to f**k with your dreams. REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY ARE. They do not own you or your faith or your future and because of what you guys helped me show them. My labels have agreed to release Dirty Gold December 30th. Uk & US. (Rest of the world, we are coming for you as well). Thank you all. Night.”
