Kris Jenner created quite the stir when pictures surfaced of she and former Bachelor contestant Ben Flajnik out and about. Of course, people assumed that the pair was dating but apparently that isn’t the case (allegedly). Flajnik spoke to PEOPLE about the situation and said they are nothing more than friends.
“She’s a beautiful, smart woman. Kris is a very, very dear friend of mine. We are not dating, we’re just working on a couple of projects together, so that’s why we’ve been seen a lot as of late,” he said.
In this day and age, people blow everything out of proportion so maybe he’s telling the truth. It’s just so easy to believe given Kris Jenner’s high potential for cougar status.
“Mastermind on the way, top of 2014“-Rick Ross in “No Games (Remix)”
(AllHipHop News) Things done changed. After announcing his new album, Mastermind would hit stores on December 17th, Rick Ross has used a few platforms to say everything but the fact that his album will be pushed back. Ross explained the delay on DJ Scream’s “HoodRich Radio” show.
According to the MMG boss, the album is being delayed in order to make it a classic:
I’m still putting final touches on the album, man. You know to me, man, making that classic is more important than anything. You know, making sure the streets are overwhelmed by what I’m doing is what’s most important. I’m trying to get it to you, you know? And if I don’t I’m going to get it to you ASAP. You already know how I get down.
This is the second album in a row from Rick Ross that has suffered a changed release date, ironically after he proclaimed his albums do not get pushed back in 2011. During an interview on Funkmaster Flex’s show on October 4th 2011, Ross addressed Jeezy’s album delays by firmly claiming his God Forgives, I Don’t album would not be pushed back from its original December 13th, 2011 date. A month and a half after that interview, God Forgives, I Don’t was pushed back by over seven months to July 30th, 2012. Ross explained the reasoning for the push back on MTV’s RapFix in a similar manner as he did for Mastermind:
If I wanted to, I’m pretty sure I could still meet that date, but I think for the people, it’s more important [to lay groundwork] for when I get out there and look them in the face and touch them hands. We’ve just gotta lay ground for it, and I’mma keep y’all updated.
There is no release date for Mastermind as of yet.

(AllHipHop News) It seems not too long ago that Pharrell was rapping “When I finger f*ck the track it caress the gift” on his 2006 Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama. Seven years later and Pharrell is working on a new solo album with one change: he won’t be rapping.
In an interview with Complex, the man with the producer’s golden touch revealed that he is indeed working on a follow up to his 2006 debut solo album In My Mind, however age has halted his desire to rap:
No rapping. It’s focused. Like I told you, that’s the difference between 30 and 40. ’Cause I was 30, now I’m 40—and I’m not rapping.
Pharrell has also been up to his usual music curation moves behind the scenes with Pusha T recently telling BBC Radio One’s Zane Lowe about Skateboard P’s idea of The Clipse doing a Speakerboxx/Love Below-type album. Quoting Pharrell, Pusha explained Pharrell’s idea:
‘I think we should do a two sided [album]’. You do what you do, he do what he do, and that’s what we do.’
There is no tentative release date for Pharrell’s as-of-yet untitled sophomore solo album.
Superstar rapper Kendrick Lamar kicked off Art Basel at Mana Wynwood in Miami last night.
The evening was sponsored by Flaunt Magazine and 3p Productions. The Belvedere was flowing as TDE’s newest artist on the roster Sza performed, while celebs like songwriter/producer/executive Rico Love enjoyed the event.

Ray J stays in some mess, even though he’s not really doing a lot in music. But, this time, it doesn’t seem like its Ray J’s fault. Adrien Broner, the boxer down with Floyd Mayweather, is messing with ol’ Ray J and putting it out there on social media. Apparently, Ray is dating somebody that Floyd used to mess with and even got a tat honoring her on his body.
Well, Broner went in. Why? Nobody knows.

And then Ray J jumped all the way in, lashing back.
It all seems pretty petty to me.

(AllHipHop News) Michael Jordan saved the world from an alien invasion in 1996’s Space Jam, Lebron James will help a few ballers. Kevin Hart has joined on to Universal Pictures and Lebron James’ often delayed movie Ballers.
Hart will co-star and rewrite the movie’s script which will put Hart as James’ brother who “gets a chance to prove himself when he and some pals attend a weekend fantasy basketball camp in Miami” according to Deadline.
The movie will mark James’ acting debut and would have occurred earlier if the film production did not coincide with Lebron’s most successful years as an NBA player. Production on the film was halted on July 2nd, 2010 to give James time of rest in the offseason. Less than a week later, James made The Decision and joined the Miami Heat. The film was halted again following Lebron and the Miami Heat’s defeat in the 2011 NBA Finals.
Lebron’s first showcases of his acting talent appeared in his Nike commercial featuring The Three Lebrons for the 2006-2007 NBA season. Check out that commercial below:
