Hip-Hop Rumors: Does Dipset Still Have Beef In Pittsburgh?

Some beefs never end….

Remember way back when…I brought the world and artist by the name of Wiz Khalifa. As history would tell it, I gave Wiz to the world because of another reason. Jim Jones had some serious beef out there. It was then that Wiz’s people hit me like, “Yo! Why are you putting all this negative stuff on the internet about our city? Here is something positive for you to report on, a young rapper named Wiz Khalifa.” I reported on him and the rest is history! Anyway, it seems like there is still some issues with Dipset and Pittsburgh. I heard they had some serious issues with a recent Hell Rell show.

Here is the intel I got.

Yo word on the streets is Pittsburgh ni***z want Hell Rell’s head! Dip Set ain’t allowed there. Them Larmier Ave ni***z aka LA Hoods ran Jim Jones and the Set up out of there a few years ago!

Ni***z was in Ny f**kin wit the music, The Government (rap Group) and I guess they was f##### wit Dip Set, word is they gave Rell some money to cop something and Rell went Dip set and never returned the pack.

Then Dip Set then came to the Burgh like it was sweet for a show and damn near got Jimmy and them boyz killed.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Rich Boy Lose His Chain And Now A Scared Woman Has It?

THIS IS AN UNIVERSAL INTERGALACTIC ILLSEED.COM EXCLUSIVE!

Rich Boy has been grinding quite a bit recently and I’m frankly hoping he comes back. I got some information and I am not really sure what’s behind it to be honest. But, I figured it was worth a BS late night rumor. So, let me put it like this. A tipster claims to know somebody in possession of a chain owned by Young Boy. Seems like its presently “residing” in the West Coast. Here is the trippy part for me. There is apparently a women that feels badly about the fact that Rich Boy is no longer in possession of this chain. She wants to give it back, but I was told that the police are somehow already involved with the case and for that reason they CANNOT get this damn chain back to him. How the woman got it…is anybody’s guess.

Rick Ross Hopes His MMG Protegés Learn From His Lost Reebok Deal

(AllHipHop News) Back in April, Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross lost his partnership with Reebok after women’s groups protested against a controversial lyric in Ross’ “U.O.N.E.O” verse. While the lost deal reportedly cost the Miami rapper $3-5 million dollars, he’s still attempting to pull something positive from the situation for his MMG crew.

“I’m in a position where if I never sold another shoe, Rozay good. So it’s really about what the little homies who coming next gonna take away from it,” Ross told MTV.

The connection between corporations and rappers has been tightly scrutinized over the last several months as other high-profile performers with corporate ties like Lil Wayne and Tyler, The Creator have also been criticized for their content.

Several of the MMG roster members have dealt with major companies in recent years. Meek Mill and Rockie Fresh are partnered with Puma, Wale endorses Skullcandy, and Stalley has worked with the Disney owned ESPN Network.

“It most definitely was a learning situation and just for the little homeys, just something for them to take away,” said Ross. “That’s what’s important to me, what they take away from it.”

Ross also spoke briefly on his own relationship with the shoe company that he had to cut ties with.

“As far as myself and Reebok, we got a healthy situation,” added Ross.

The whole MMG team will come together again for the Self Made Vol. 3 album hitting stores on August 6th.

Miguel Reportedly Ignored Order Not To Jump Over Crowd At Billboard Awards

(AllHipHop News) Miguel’s Billboard Music Awards stage dive saga continues for another day. After the lawyer for the victim is now claiming that his client may have brain damage and contemplating filing a lawsuit, representatives from the BMA’s have passed the complete blame for the incident to the “Adorn” singer.

TMZ is reporting that producers of the awards show ordered Miguel not to jump over the audience during his performance. Apparently, they told the R&B star that the idea was too dangerous.

According to the producers, Miguel ignored their order and performed the jump anyway. As a result Khyati Shah was hit with the leg drop seen ’round the world.

Miguel has yet to comment publicly about the victim’s head trauma claims or Billboard producers saying that he was not to attempt the jump.

YMCMB Heiresses Eye Their Dads’ Thrones

My mom always used to tell me not to “act up” out in the streets because I was a reflection of her. Well, imagine the pressure that comes with being the eldest daughter of one of hip-hop’s biggest stars and the daughter of one of hip-hop’s richest men.

For most of us, Lil’ Wayne is just a rapper. He is arguably one of the greatest of all time, a label head with an incredible eye for talent. He’s another celeb who we gossip about over the water cooler. What he wore and who he’s dating are regular topics of conversation (even on this site). Wayne makes headlines almost every time he opens his mouth, on and off record. But for his eldest daughter, Reginae, he’s just Dad.Reginae-Carter-and-Lil-Wayne

“One of the things that’s great (about having a celebrity dad) is that we have a lot of privileges. We can travel. We can do things that other 14 and 15 year old kids can’t do,” states Reginae Carter, “One of the hard things is that we are in the limelight, we don’t really have privacy.”

Same holds true for Bria Williams, 15, daughter of Cash Money head Bryan “Birdman” Williams. Bria has been able to live a little more anonymously than her higher profile “godsister.” Prior to the release of their new book, Paparazzi Princesses, little was known about the daughter of the culture’s 4th richest rapper according to Forbes Magazine.

briareginae-600-1363212580In their new semi-autobiographical novel the girls are depicted as Kayla Jones and Promise Walker, girls who seem to have it all, but also have a lot of struggles that come along with their famous parents. Kayla and Promise have typical teen problems like getting good grades, crushing on the new boy in school, and trying to decide what to wear to the mall. But, they also have to deal with blog sites posting rumors about them, getting along with their new security guard, and trying to live up to their fathers high expectations.

PaparazziPrincess_Final-21-723x1024Paparazzi Princesses was written with the help of a ghostwriter to whom the girls told their stories, “We added more to the stories in our book to make it more dramatic, and juicier for our readers.” Bria Williams explains. The book is a lot of fun. Paparazzi Princesses is a look inside the rap industry from the eyes of the youngest people involved. The children of rap stars. The book will make a great gift for any teenager and the girls hope that it will make kids want to read. “We want kids to think reading is fun and cool,” Bria explains, “We want kids to have fun reading, and to not think that reading has to be boring, or just for school.”

Both girls seem to have picked up great business acumen from their famous fathers, and look forward to working together on projects because they have been together all of their young lives. Reginae explains, “We really enjoy working together. We can read each other, and it’s good to do business with someone you’ve known for a long time.” And they have a major co-sign for their launch into the family business from Birdman himself: “Bria and Reginae gave this project their all, and had a good time in the process.  As a father, it has been incredible to see Paparazzi Princesses go from the girls’ dream to a reality. This is just the beginning for these two creative young ladies.”

bria reg

So, expect to hear more from these rap royals. Both Bria and Reginae are entering the family business. Reginae, 14, has appeared in the media quite a bit, as her mother, Toya Carter-Wright has herself established a brand starring on the television shows Tiny & Toya and Toya: A Family Affair. Reginae was also a founding member of the pop-group, OMG Girlz, and will be in a duo with another former member, Lourdes Rodriguez. Bria, 15, lives in Miami and has about as regular a life as someone in her circumstances could have. In addition to writing Paparazzi Princesses, she and Reginae are launching a clothing company, YMCMP: Young Money, Cash Money Princesses.

When it all comes down to it, the princesses of Young Money and Cash Money want you to know one thing: “We are still regular kids. We still have to do regular things. We have to clean our rooms, do homework, go to school. It’s still regular; it’s just that we have famous fathers.” There you have it, out of the mouths of babes.

Paparazzi Princesses will be available in stores and online June 4th.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Beyonce Laughs At Baby Rumors, Kanye’s Silly Hood Controversy

I find this funny. People inside (or at least closer than most) Jay-Z and Beyonce’s camp think she is pregnant! Well, at least the people that I consider reliable sources. But, they are not so reliable now. But, its all but proven that Beyonce is not with child at this point, even though there have been rock solid “sources” that say otherwise! Anyway, there is a recent video where they get to the rumors amid a good cause and B scoff at the rumors. I bet she’s most mad that people think she’s getting big…

In other frivolous news….

Speaking of babies, Kanye West is getting criticized for wearing a hoodie to the baby shower of his upcoming seed. According to reports, Kanye didn’t want to be the only male there and therefore, wasn’t really trying to go. But he did come out and he wore a hoodie. Big deal. People have some nerve.

Anyway, they are having baby girl.

Problem And IAMSU’s MDA Tour (Los Angeles, CA)

Problem and IAMSU, two of California’s hottest acts right now, recently teamed up to tour parts of the nation in what they dubbed, “The MDA Tour.” One artist represents Southern California while the other hails from the Bay, but they both represent a new sound and a new “Young California” attitude and style. AllHipHop.com recently caught the duo as they rocked The El Rey Theater in Los Angeles, CA in the month of May and boy did they turn the place out! Young energetic fans packed the arena out and partied all night as both artists took turns performing their current popular jams. Problem, who also celebrated his birthday that night, brought out guest Tank who performed a few cuts for the crowd. Later, Wiz Khalifa joined the fun to perform “Bout Me” with Problem and IAMSU, in what was the evening’s most “turned up” moment (followed by Problem and Bad Lucc’s “Like Whaaaaaat”). The lighting inside of the venue could have been better but we still managed to get some good pics and footage for you all to check out. Expect to see more from these two in the future as the Young California movement continues to grow. Click on the thumbnails to see the pictures in full size.
